Next morning, I woke up leaning to a huge tree branch and was overcome with a severe headache.

I groaned in pain as I slowly regain my consciousness. I raised my eyebrows at how tall the branch actually was, and slowly sat up as I tried to recall the events of last night.

Then, a pleasant feeling washes over me; one of satisfaction and joy.

From the sounds that could be heard around me, I knew that I was likely deep inside the forest.

The morning light has only begun to appear, shining through the leaves of the trees. I tried to stand up, but my body was still tired and sore as well as my legs were a little weak.

"Ugh... Just what exactly happened last night..? Why is my body this tired..."

However how much I recall, I couldn't remember a thing.

I'm in a daze. I didn't recall anything clearly, but despite that, I still feel the after effects of a pleasant night.

After a while, I saw something from the corner of my eyes. It was a remains of some burnt campfire from which it must've been made during last night. I pondered, curious about how it was left in a state so clean.

Then, I noticed Ei, Aether and Paimon from below me and went down to approach them.

After I reached the group, Ei turns to look at me. In a flash, I noticed that she looks absolutely exhausted as well, but nonetheless, her gaze was still firm and stern as she looks back at me with a faint smirk appearing on her face.

"Oh, so you're finally awake? We were wondering when that would happen." Ei said with her tone full of sarcasm while Paimon agreed with her.

"Yeah, you took a pretty nasty hit to the head. We were getting worried about you, to be honest. Me and Aether were looking for any way to wake you up, at least."

Did I somehow overslept?

"I don't... recall anything that had happened yesterday." I said in all honesty which made Ei to look at me.

"Oh? I actually don't recall anything about our recent adventures yesterday too."

I rolled my eyes.

No one asks.

Wait a minute... Did she...

I shook off the feeling and glared at her in disdain.

"You did something last night that triggered a certain memory lost for the both of us, did you?"

After making some accusations of my own, she steps closer to me and whispers in my ear.

"Let me ask you about last night... Was it all just a dream? A product of our exhausted mind, a figment of our own subconscious?"

She paused for a moment and gaze at me with a grin.

"Or was it all real?"

Tsk, I don't even have the slightest clue on what she's talking about right now.

She chuckled at my confused reaction and speaks in a more intimate manner.
