[Y/n's PoV]
"You have arrived."
The Shogun appears before me, standing above the huge platform just like the day when she dragged me on to this domain too.
"You are all here, at last, come, it is time for us to talk about the current issue ahead."
The Shogun then gaze at me from which I stiffened, thinking that I should be ready at all cause if she'll strike me down or not.
"It's a surprise to see you once again. I'm guessing Yae Miko dragged you all the way without your permission?"
"...."
I didn't bother to answer her question and quietly observed the area where it happens to be that my eyes accidentally landed on Ei.
She was standing beside the Shogun. Both of them are looking at me with seriousness and intensity. The only difference is that Ei's expression is softer and more relaxed.
Ei's eyes were then fixated on mine, and all of a sudden, I was reminded of the kiss from that day.
A minute had passed and she still continues to focused her gaze at me without speaking a single word. Aether, his companion, the Shogun, and Yae Miko all watch this interaction with interest.
"You should be flattered, Y/n. Ei rarely ever use her own gaze to look at someone else in such a manner." Yae Miko said with a smug expression on her face.
"Enough about the Thunderbird's situation though— there are more important matters to be taken care of."
The Shogun spoke and turns to face us.
"I have brought you here to discuss the recent news about the Abyss invading our islands. To Watatsumi, Yashiori, Kannazuka, Narukami, Seirai, and Tsurumi."
"Oh... that. Yes, we've encountered different Abyss Heralds along the way as well as the increasing amount of rifthounds." Aether said.
"We must do something about this increasing threat. The Abyss does not differentiate between those with Visions and those without. If the Abyss grows in power, no human or god shall be safe."
They all seem worried about this warning. Aether, however, quickly shakes himself out of this mood and decides to think about what to say next.
"We also have the Fatui and Sumeru to think about. Both are already a major problem. I think it would be wise to deal with one threat at a time, starting with the Abyss."
"Correct. Let's start with the Abyss, since they are already a huge threat. They are capable of corrupting both humans and gods and turning them against one another." The Shogun stated.
Yae Miko also nodded understandingly, "Yes, I agree that the Abyss may pose a problem. It is wise to take care of the most dangerous threat first, before others get involved."
At that moment, all I can do now was to ignore Ei and try listening to their conversation, but it seems impossible when she's currently right in front of me.
"Y/n, it's rare to see you this quiet. Any thoughts about this situation?"
I suddenly snapped out of my thoughts and looked at Yae Miko.
"...Or are you somewhat preoccupied right now?"
"That's right. You, Thunderbird. I want to hear your opinion."
