[Y/n's PoV]
The angry beast inside me broke its chains, which was weakened by the sorrow and pressure that "she" gave me.
It conquered me until I felt hurt by it, because it knew that my soul was my dearest one. So I meditate, over and over, only to noticed that the beast returned harming my soul once more and all I could do was to seal it, but the price? It was my own feelings and will that consumes me.
After four of the Manifestations broke free and formed themselves outside of my body, I let my weak body fall to the ground but Ei catches me just in time with a firm grip, her eyes were now glowing with bright purple.
"What the..." She pauses and her gaze remains fixed on me as she speaks.
"Hmm..."
She looks at the Thunder Manifestations that are flying next to us, then to me once more with a serious stare.
"...So were those your seal? Were you unable to control these... 'Manifestations' just like what happened to your sister after she felt so much grief and rage?" Her tone was cold to the point where I noticed that my body feels slightly frozen just by looking at her.
"Yes... They're the one's that keeping me to fully reach out to you since their mind was only focus on one thing after I saw my sister died that day, and it was to kill you whatever the cost." I fully explained.
"...I see. So these 'Manifestations' are responsible not just for the pain you go through but also for the way you speak and act towards others as well."
Ei's expression doesn't change, but she speaks in a softer and more sympathetic tone.
She then gently place me aside before standing up and summoned her polearm and be facing four of the Thunder Manifestation now in front of us.
"I shall do the fighting to protect you from now on. I know that you cannot control these... 'Manifestations', so I shall fight against them."
She gets into a combat ready stance, and I noticed that the polearm seems to have an extra layer of electrical charge in it. It seems like she's gotten much more sincere.
"You should probably stay back."
I shook my head and tried to stand up.
"No. Let me help you with this–"
I didn't continue my sentence when she gives me that same stern expression again, though the coldness in her voice is gone.
"Do not interrupt me." Ei said and holds up her polearm, the electrical energy around it getting stronger and crackling violently.
Then she points to one of the Thunder Manifestations.
"Your verdict is decided."
The Thunder Manifestations just freezes in its tracks. It doesn't try to resist nor run away, but Ei is completely focused and determined.
The Thunder Manifestations then charge at Ei, a battle of epic proportions was about to take place, but just watching Ei being so decisive is extremely hot and absolutely fascinating.
Even now, in battle, she remained in control.
I watched in awe from afar, as she used her sheer determination to completely destroy the Thunder Manifestations.
The battle between Ei and the Thunder Manifestations was so swift and epic as though it all felt like a scene ripped right out of a novel.
Ei's eyes were filled with purpose, her focus on destroying the Thunder Manifestations was so great that it seemed like everyone else's time was slowed down in comparison to her own mind moving in real time.
