[Y/n's PoV]
Yae Miko's eyes sparkle as her self-satisfied smile appeared on her face and turns to me with an amused look.
"Seems like someone knows their stuff."
Aether and his companion looks at me with a mix of confusion and amazement, while the Shogun's expression is also one of surprise.
"The Gate of Zulqarnain is indeed an abandoned entrance to a domain deep under Sumeru. Do you also know how to get there?"
I crossed my arms and looked coldly at Ei.
"I am not a tourist guide. Moreover, I don't even live in Sumeru."
"...Hmph. That's true. But as the Raiden Shogun of Inazuma who wants nothing but safety and security for her people, I believe that you should assist me in finding the location of this 'Gate of Zulqarnain'. After all, I would rather not waste time wandering Sumeru's forests and deserts without reason."
I smirked at her,"Well, I don't mind if you do. If you got lost in the sands, there is no one to help you, and even if I was there, I would most likely just watch you get swept away."
She just squinted her eyes at me as her shoulders began to tense up.
"You will regret saying that statement."
Pfft.
"Do I?"
My mockery seemed to anger her more since she's giving me that murderous look, but it amuse me just to see her that way.
"Now, now, you two should calm down. No need to fight."
I heard a faint giggle came from Yae Miko, though I didn't know if she's serious or not. Aether and his companion look more scared now as they felt the tension rising.
"You are very bold for someone in my situation, Y/n, but I believe you know what happens to people who incur my wrath. You don't want to end up like your older sister, do you?"
I stiffened when she suddenly mentioned Kapatcir but I brush it off and respond to her comment.
"Nor would you."
Yae Miko then clasped her hands that was loud enough to get everyone's attention.
"Alright, that's enough. We should get back to the matter at hand."
"Y-yes, I agree..." Aether added.
We just looked coldly at each other one last time before fixing our gaze to the fox envoy.
"Y/n, is it possible that you could still remember the path leading towards the Gate of Zulqarnain?"
I shrugged.
"...Perhaps, but it's been millenniums since I last visited that fallen kingdom, so there are, without a doubt, many changes of events, and who knows if the entrance was already been buried deep beneath the sands?"
Yae Miko sighed as she looks back at me. Ei was still looking at Yae, but she's mostly focused on keeping me at bay. On the other hand, Aether relaxed slightly, but I could tell from his expression that he's still worried about what might happen next.
