*Frazier's POV*

I swear to god, as soon as the soccer pictures were done, I basically ripped this shirt off my body and back in to my hoodie I went.

The rest of the school day seems to fly by.

It always does when I need to have a conversation I don't want to have.

I went to my locker, grabbed my stuff, and tapped in to my mind.

'Where are you parked Len?'

'Back parking lot closest to the field.'

I sighed and headed out.

I found his car as quickly as possible, got in, and he pulled out of the parking lot.

"Want to go to the place?" He cleared his throat.

"I guess." I shrugged.

The entire ride to the look out was silent.

I don't know what to say to Lennox at the moment.

He put his car in park and looked at me. "You ready to talk without trying to kill me?"

"You gonna stop lying to me?"

I crossed my arms.

"Frazier I never lied to you." He shook his head. "I just didn't tell you. I was doing my job." He sighed.

"OK, I'm asking this question a lot. Instead of just, not telling me, don't you think it would've been better for me to know so I can at least be prepared?"

"With your anxiety? Fuck no. Your dad didn't want you or Harlow to know. Your dad wanted me on you so you didn't find out. You weren't supposed to know about it but you walked in while he and Alpha Owen were with Camden and you know the only time he calls on Camden."

"I can handle myself Lennox and we both know that." I nodded.

"You can handle a lot more than yourself. Fray I'm only doing it so you're safe. Trust me, I would much rather not be doing this at all. But at least I don't have a front row seat. I'm at a distance."

I sighed. "Lennox that's not fair." I shook my head. "I didn't chose him. The Moon Goddess did."

"It was supposed to be me." He nodded. "Or at least I thought it was."

"Trust me Lennox, so did I for a while. But things didn't work out that way."

"It still could be you know." He reached over and grabbed my hand. "You two said you were going to reject each other, right?"

"Lennox, you ended things because of my dad."

"I was 17 Frazier. You were 14. He had every right." He nodded. "That doesn't mean I didn't want to be with you. But he's my-"

"Alpha? Yeah, I know." I shook my head.

"Frazier, if I were to become your mate, you know he would be fine with it. Just, reject him already so we can find out."

'Bitch, don't you dare.' I heard Kira in the back of my head. 'You had a deal. Only you and him.'

"I can't."

"Why." He groaned. "Fray it hurts me having to do this. But being mine, would make it so much easier. I would be able to hold your hand in public." He brushed his thumbs across my knuckles. "You could move in to the cottage with me." He nodded. "I wouldn't have to hide how much I care about you anymore." He moved closer. "And, I could kiss you whenever I want."

'Frazier do not kiss him! If you want to kiss someone you go kiss our mate! Tell Lennox the truth, right now!'

"Lennox, Ethan and I agreed to get to know each other during the time period we have before we make any decisions. We're trying." I pursed my lips.
