*Ethan's POV*

She's going to kill me.

Like seriously, I really think she's about to kill me.

It's been a week since my penis has been anywhere near her body, and she's about to start her heat. She's obviously been on one, to the point where her dad is like 'Mother fucker do something I'm scared.' And, well, this is the 6th can she's thrown at me since we've been in the water and it's taking everything in Kai, Onix, and Tony to not break out in hysterical laughter.

Harlow, I know if I ask her for help, she's going to laugh in my face, so, I decided to be a big boy, and ask someone else who has been trying her darndest to stay away from me tonight as if I couldn't tell.

I hopped out of the water and walked down to the end of the dock to where she was and knelt in front of her while she was in the water.

I cleared my throat. "Aine." I pursed my lips.

She smiled and looked up at me. "Hello Alpha Ethan."

I sighed. "You can just call me Ethan." I nodded. "I was wondering if I could talk to you for a minute?"

"Ethan." Onix crossed his arms.

"Relax." I shook my head. "Friendly conversation."

"Sure." She nodded and looked at Onix.

He sighed, grabbed her waist, and lifted her out of this water like it was nothing to him.

"Ethan, don't-"

"On, I'm me. I've got her." I nodded and held my arm out.

She wrapped her arm in and walked down the dock with me. "Are you ok?"

"Oh yeah, I'm good." I sighed.

"I have a thousand arms, a thousand legs, and 500 heads. Who am I?" She looked up at me.

"What?" I scrunched my face.

"Who am I?" She shrugged.

"I don't know, a sea creature?"

"No." She shook her head. "I'm a liar, and so are you." She nodded.

'Dude why the fuck is she talking in riddles?' I linked Onix.

'I don't know but I fucking love it.'

'She just called me a liar.'

'And she's correct.' He laughed.

I rolled my eyes and pulled her to sit down on one of the benches around the fire. "Can I ask you something, and you keep it between you and I so I can keep what's left of my ego intact because being an about to be Alpha I have to have an ego and my friends and girlfriend have been crushing it? Them intentionally, her unintentionally."

Her eyes got wide. "I guess so."

"You quite clearly are something that does magic. Like, between everything in your shop, the crystals, you study magic, right?"

"I do." She nodded. "Nature and enchantments."

"At your shop, you said something about men in love giving faster than men in lust."

She choked back a laugh.

I sighed. "Is there anything like, you could give to a man in love to make him take longer to give?" I scrunched my face.

"There is not." She shook her head. "Your problem is internal Ethan."

"What, I need to go to the doctor?"
