*Major's POV*

"Oh is this him!" A shriek came from her bedroom door.

Shit.

Our bedroom door.

It's our bedroom.

Amity laughed. God I love that laugh. She has such a beautiful laugh.

"It is Drana." She smiled. "This is Major Frontino."

"Oh." She yelled, clapped her hands, walked over, grabbed my hands and lifted my arms to the side. "Let me look at you." She looked me all over. "Oh my darling Amity. The Goddess Sekhmet did you well." She smiled.

"I simply feel she has good taste in men." Amity laughed. "Drana you're scaring him."

"Am I scaring you my dear." Drana pouted.

"No no." I shook my head. "I'm ok. I'm just-" I paused. "Who is Sekhmet?"

"Sekhmet is the goddess we pray to." She nodded. "There are various interpretations of what god we're under. We here at Rose Fang, believe in Sekhmet. An Egyptian goddess who drank the blood of men during war. Men who committed horrible crimes and acts against both men and women. It was said to believe that she herself was responsible for thousands of freed creatures. Not just vampires."

I let out a small smile. "I like her then. Hello Drana."

"I've been excited for you for days since I heard the news. My precious Amity has found her mate. A good one at that." She nodded. "Please, dinner is ready. Lord Gray has requested you sit beside him at his table tonight."

My face went flat and I looked at Amity.

Her smile grew. "He's just being a father." She nodded.

Yeah.

With the fathers I have around me at all times? My father with Sable, Alpha Orian with Harlow, Frazier and Amity, hell, Grandfather Blake with them too. Him being a father is what I am worried about.

Amity grabbed my hand pulling me out of our room following Drana.

"Who is Drana to you?" I looked down at her.

"Drana is the lady of our floor. She runs everything for my family. And well, she is my fathers lover." She nodded.

"Oh you busy body." Drana turned around and gave her a smirk.

Amity laughed. "She's the only lover my father has taken since my mother died nearly 95 years ago. I was young, very young, 5 to be honest, and Drana, she's become more of a mother to me than a lady of the floor. He loves her, very much, but feels it would disrespect my mothers memory to marry and make her Lady of the Coven."

"A fact I understand to the fullest." Drana nodded in front of us. "Lady Lolina was truly a wonderful person. She would've been honored to meet you Major."

I let out a small smile.

We made our way to the great hall and Drana lead us to a large table, her father and brothers already seated with 4 other men, 4 women, and 4 boys to look my age, 2 of them were the ones with Cassius in the foyer earlier, and 2 young girls who look Amity's age.

Everyone at the table rose as Amity and I made our ways to our seat.

She sat down, I pushed her chair in, and took the seat between her and her father.

"A wolf at our table." Cassius rolled his eyes.

Drana smacked the back of his head. "Cassius Gray mind your manners." She glared at him as she set his plate down.
