*Ethan's POV*
3 reasons why I'm excited for today.
1. Both packs are going to be completely together.
2. Food! Between my mom, Emiline, and the other women of each pack I know I'm going to eat enough to last me 3 days.
And 3. I GET TO SEE MY GRANDPARENTS.
My mom's parents passed away a few years ago. Efriam and Fatima.
But my dad's parents. Cornelius and Jade. They're both still alive and well. And they're coming to this party today.
My grandfather was the first Alpha in our family. He was the one who started the changes in our pack and changed our ideals to push toward peace.
He's also possibly the coolest man alive.
So today, I rolled out of bed, quickly got dressed, and headed down stairs.
"Mama!" I yelled as I got to the bottom of the stairs.
"Kitchen baby!" She yelled.
I basically jogged into the kitchen. "Where are my keys?"
"Honey, you can ride with us, you know. We won't embarrass you." She laughed.
"I know I can, but I'm gonna head over early to see if Luna Emiline needs help with anything."
She raised her eyebrows. "So that's going OK?" She smiled.
"We're just doing what we agreed to mom." I nodded. "Getting to know each other."
"You ripped into her for talking to Max Monday." Rhiannon came walking into the kitchen.
"Shut up." I looked at her. "Just, do you know where my keys are mom?"
"They're in the key tray." She nodded.
"Not uh. Not my jeep keys." I pursed my lips.
"Ethan I hate that damn bike." She groaned.
"And now I'm leaving." Rhiannon nodded and walked out the back door.
I sighed. "Mom, I have my motorcycle license, Grandpa made me get it before he even gave me the bike. I always wear my helmet, I don't speed, I don't speed race, and I have never wrecked. I always ride it when I know Grandpa will be there. It makes him and me happy. Please give me my bike keys."
She sighed, reached into the junk drawer, and handed me my bike keys.
"Boots, jeans, jacket." She pointed at me.
"Yes ma'am." I leaned over the counter and kissed her cheek. "Love you so much."
"Yeah, I love you too." She waved me off.
I threw my boots and jacket on, and headed out.
I pulled up to the gate of the Vojack grounds and was stopped by Camden.
I flipped my face mask up.
"Well damn. You've got a bike too?" He laughed.
"I do. It was my grandfathers." I nodded.
"It's nice." He nodded. "Where's your sister?"
"Coming with my parents. Thought you'd know that."
"Oh. Yeah. I knew that." He cleared his throat.
I gave him a look. "You know she's 15, right?"
"I know." He nodded. "I was just wondering."
"Mhm." I nodded. "Yeah, go with that one for now."
