*Major's POV*

Well school today was definitely different.

After talking to Ethan, Tony, and Onix, I have learned that vampires scent is much stronger than wolves, because although they can smell from a certain distance, I can tell exactly where she is clear across campus.

Last night we were both beyond the point of exhausted that we both decided to leave the anticipation building until we got back to the grounds tomorrow night because I am uncomfortable doing anything in her, well, castle.

Turns out, her and I can actually link each other due to both of our species being able to link, Cyrus did more research yesterday at school, which is something neither of us knew.

Felix and Knox, I felt like they were baby sitting me all day with how often I actually saw them around.

I've learned her class schedule, I've learned where her locker is, and I've learned she has quite a few friends in her coven.

She seems to be an all around well liked girl.

Onix was skeptical, but I introduced her to Aine this morning, she asked to meet Aine. And when she met us all at lunch with Knox and Felix in tow, she had them both by their hair making them apologize for what happened over the weekend and swear they would stay away from her and her family, and then the two of them proceeded to run off with Frazier, Harlow, and Rhiannon to do god knows what.

But now, I have just met her at her locker to walk her to my jeep to head to her coven.

We got about half way there when she reached over and grabbed my hand. "You're nervous."

"One singular wolf in a coven of vampires where 3 very influential ones have made it known I'm not welcome." I shook my head. "Scared? Not in the slightest. Nervous about offending your father or upsetting him, yes." I nodded.

"Don't worry about my brothers." She shook her head.

"They're your family Amity. I'm going to worry about them."

She squeezed my hand. "You said I'm your home now?"

I nodded.

"Then so is my castle." She let out a small smile. "Let me handle my brothers."

Keep your composure Major.

If her brothers start anything, do not finish it.

Let her handle it.

I know she can handle it, but I'm supposed to handle those things.

10 minutes later, we pulled up to the gates of her coven, right up to the parking spot that now had my name on it, but when I got out of my jeep, I caught a slightly scent.

I grabbed my bag of things I brought to leave here out of the back, and she grabbed my hand as I closed the door.

How in the fuck did I wind up living in a castle part time.

"Father isn't home yet, but dinner is at 6:00. My brothers, father, elders and their families sit together, and you will be with us." She smiled and pushed the door open.

To instantly see Cassius and two other dudes waiting right in the foyer.

"Here we go." I whispered.

"Really?" She raised her eyebrows and looked at Cassius.

"Just making sure you got home safe." He walked over, pulled her hand out of mine, and looked her over.

"She's fine." I rolled my eyes. "No harm has come to her in anyway."

"I'll be the judge of that." His head shot toward me.
