When Norma first woke up, her vision was slightly blurred. She narrowed her eyes briefly, allowing her vision to focus. That's when she got to grips with her surroundings, and realized she was in the hospital. Alex was sitting in a chair beside her bed. She sat up sharply, quickly looking around. "Where's Norman? Is he okay? Where's the girl from the motel? Is she alive? Is she okay?" she spoke very quickly, a lot of panic to her voice.

Alex was glad to see her awake finally, but rolled his eyes slightly at her panic. "Sit." he put his hand on her shoulder, gently pushing her back. "Norman's fine, Dylan came to pick him up last night. He was barely effected. And Ashley, well...i'm not sure. She's still here, somewhere-I could go and check on her if you want me to.."

Norma was relieved to hear that Norman was okay. Then again when she thought about it, of course he'd have been okay. His side of the car was barely touched. But Ashley, she was on Norma's side of the car at the time. She could easily be badly injured. She made out that it was because she cared, which she did slightly but she couldn't help but think about the fact that Ashley saw Norman swerve the car purposely. What if she was out there right now, blabbing to the police about what she saw? "Yes please...just, to humor me you know." she frowned slightly.

"Don't feel guilty if that's what this is about...the crash wasn't your fa-" he began, about to reassure her that it wasn't her fault. However then he remembered, he didn't even know how the crash happened. "What did happen in the crash? It was an accident, right?"

Norma stiffened up slightly, avoiding looking at him. "I don't want to talk about it."

"Norma-you forget. I'm not Sheriff Romero anymore, okay...i'm not interrogating you. I'm asking because I care.."

She sighed and looked back at him, speaking quietly. "It wasn't an accident."

Alex frowned, confusion in his expression. "What? How do you mean? You mean, you did it on purpose?"

"Not me..." She shook her head. "I mean, I guess it was me...technically. I was driving after all, I probably could've stopped it-" she began to babble, starting to blame herself.

"Norma, just get to the point." He raised an eyebrow.

"I was arguing with Ashley. She was asking me all these condesending questions, and ugh! I could've stopped the car and slapped her right there and then. But I didn't, I tried to stay calm. She asked me why Norman couldn't drive, she tried guessing...saying maybe I didn't have the money for it. Obviously I got angry at that...I mean who the hell can't afford a drivers test?!"

"Are you saying you got angry and swerved the car?"

"No! Jesus Alex, is that how you think of me?! Nice, real nice." She rolled her eyes, looking away from him for a moment. "No, it wasn't me who got angry. She kept asking why Norman kept taking his test, and I said he had health issues. I was going to lie about what they were-I don't know, say he had a leg injury or something. Norman didn't know that, though. He must have been sitting there the whole time, getting angry over the fact that Ashley and I were arguing. He probably thought I was gonna spill the beans about his blackouts.." she looked back at him. "And then uh-he grabbed my hands and made me swerve the car into the side of the road."

"Oh god." Alex rubbed his hands over his face, just standing there for a moment. All this with Norman, it was really starting to get out of hand now. "I'll go and see Ashley." he finally said after a moment of silence, starting to walk out. He turned back, lowering his voice. "You need to get him help, Norma. I'm serious. Before it's too late. You might only have come out with an injured leg this time? But leave it any longer and I don't even wanna think about what he might do." he said with a serious tone to his voice, leaving the room the moment he'd finished speaking. He found the room Ashley was staying in and walked inside. "Hey.."
