Da-hye's feet pounded against the ground as she and her brother, Dang-gu, ran towards Songrim from Chwiseonru. They'd heard a rumor that the Songrim mages and their uncle had caught Naksu. Da-hye was gasping for breath as she and her brother saw the leader and Master Heo Yeom.

"Uncle!" Dang-gu shouted, running towards Uncle Jin and Master Heo. "Uncle, I heard Naksu was a soul shifter." Dang-gu said.

"Is that true?" Da-hye asked, as she stopped behind her brother. Da-hye was curious if this rumor about Naksu being a soul shifted was true.

"Master Heo, did you see her too?" Dang-gu asked, desperate to get an answer.

Master Heo was a funny old man with a short temper. Da-hye would never admit it, but she liked him more than she liked her uncle. Like Da-hye, her uncle was very serious and prioritized his duties over anything. The only difference between them was that Da-hye was more carefree.

"You seem awfully excited to start rumors." Park Jin spoke. Park Jin was the uncle of both Da-hye and Dang-gu and he was the leader of Songrim.

"Rumors have already spread. We came as soon as we heard." Dang-gu responded, swallowing hard.

"Where did you hear it?" Master Heo asked.

"At Chwiseonru." Da-hye responded. "We were just over there."

"You are mages of Jeongjingak." The leader told the twins. "But instead of practicing, you go to bars and listen to rumors."

Da-hye's uncle had always been more strict about Dang-gu because Dang-gu was going to be the next leader of Songrim. Da-hye had never wanted to be a mage, but her fate was already decided from the moment she was born.

"Songrim Jeongjingak is not only a place for mages to practice their spells, but also a place to gather information." Master Heo said somewhat trying to defend Dang-gu and Da-hye. "Also, Dang-gu here will follow in your footsteps and become the leader of the Songrim household. He should know his liquor." Master Heo explained. "Now, tell me. Which liquor is the best at Chwiseonru?"

"We do not go there as often anymore now that Uk is there." Da-hye said before Dang-gu could say something.  Jang Uk was the son of Jang Gang. Jang Gang is Gwanju or was, he left Daeho around 20 years ago and had not came back.

"Uk, the son of Jang Gang?" Master Heo asked. "Is he not learning how to write at the village school in Yeongchundang?"

"He got kicked out of there ages ago." Dang-gu said. "Right now, he is in Gisan."

Jang Uk's father, Jang Gang, had blocked Uk's gate of energy. So, Uk would never learn to cast spells or would never be a mage. Da-hye sometimes felt bad but there was nothing she could do about it.

"I sent him to receive training from Buddhist Monk Ho-yeong." The leader explained.

"Uk went to train at a Buddhist temple this time?" Master Heo asked.

"Yes." Da-hye responded. "Uncle, may I see Naksu's body?" Da-hye got straight to the point. This was what she ran all the way here for.

"Yes, go ahead. Yul should be there right now." The leader responded, giving Da-hye a small smile.

Da-hye nodded her head and made her way into Jeongjinggak. Seo Yul was the son of General Seo from the Seoho Fortress. He was also the twins' best friend. Along with Jang Uk, but Da-hye did not talk to Uk much.

When Da-hye found the room that Naksu's body was in, she also found Yul there. "So, this is Naksu." Da-hye spoke, walking towards the table where Naksu's body laid.
