𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥 𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗦, Go Won

𝟬𝟰𝟲. 𝗜𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀

The Crown Prince wanted to ask Gu Hyo about Chwiseonru. "So, I hear you went to Chwiseonru with Young Lady Park a while ago." The Crown Prince told Gu Hyo. "Is there, perhaps, something between you two?" The Crown Prince asked.

Gu-hyo smiled. "No, it is not like that." Gu Hyo said. "I just simply offered to go with Da-hye and she agreed." Gu-hyo explained. The Crown Prince did not like that Gu Hyo called Da-hye by her name.

"You cannot be to sure about that." Han Yeol said. "Back when we were young, Hyo used to have a big crush on Da-hye."

"It is not like that." Gu Hyo smiled. "I do not think that me and Da-hye would ever be dating. We are just friends." Gu-hyo said.

"That is right." The Crown Prince said. "She would never date someone like you." The Crown Prince told Gu Hyo. Da-hye liked that the Crown Prince was jealous, but still why was he so immature? Da-hye wanted to forgive him so badly because he was just so cute. Da-hye walked away smiling. Oh, why did she have to be so in love with the Crown Prince?

Da-hye decided to go visit Young Lady Heo again.

"You are back." Young Lady Heo said. "You seem very happy. Is the barrier gone?" Young Lady Heo asked.

"I wish that it was." Da-hye said. "My brother must be so worried." Da-hye thought about what Dang-gu would react like when he found out his sister was stuck in a barrier around Jeongjingak. "Master Heo must be so worried about you as well."

"Do you think so?" Young Lady Heo asked.

"How can I not?" Da-hye asked. "He is always talking about you." Da-hye rollled eyes. "I do not mean to be rude, but it is getting quite a bit annoying."

"What does he say?" Young Lady Heo asked.

"Well how you are a great beauty." Da-hye said. "And he talks about marrying you off. He even made a list of candidates of potential husbands for you." Da-hye laughed. "One of the candidates was my brother, which of course it would not be bad to have you as a sister-in-law. But I do not know if you have heard, but my brother and Jin Cho-yeon from the Jin family are in love." Da-hye started gossiping to Young Lady Heo. "That is why my brother was kicked out from Songrim and Cho-yeon was kicked out from Jinyowon. But a few days later, Jin Bu-yeon returned. So Cho-yeon went back to Jinyowon, since her sister was back. And Dang-gu returned to Songrim."  Da-hye said. "Oh, I am getting off topic, am I not?"

"It is okay." Young Lady Heo smiled. "I like hearing what you have to say."

Young Lady Heo was one of the few people that knew how to listen. That is one of the reasons Da-hye enjoyed her company. 

A few seconds later, Cha Beom's friends and the Crown Prince brought him to Young Lady Heo. Apparently, Cha Beom had fainted an injured his head.  Young Lady Heo wrapped his head with gauze.

"Your energy drained out when you cast spells?" The Crown Prince asked Cha Beom.

"Yes." Cha Beom responded. "I felt my energy draining out. It felt like my energy was draining out like a broken vase."

"I examined his core of energy, and he has lost a lot of energy." Young Lady Heo said. Da-hye actually felt bad. If that happened to her, she would be crying. But of course, that would not happen to her. Because she was not stupid.

"How could I lose my torrent of energy?" Cha Beom sobbed.

The Crown Prince took his sword and unsheathed it. "Maybe this sword is the problem." The Crown Prince filled the sword with his energy. A few seconds later, the sword started to shake.

"Drop that!" Da-hye smacked the sword out of the Crown Prince's hand. The Crown Prince liked to see Da-hye worried about him.

"My energy just drained from the sword." The Crown Prince said.

"I think the barrier is causing the problem." Yul said. "I think it takes the energy you use...when you cast spells."

"As if this could not get any worse." Da-hye complained. 

So they decided to place their swords away so they would not be used. The Crown Prince noticed that Da-hye sword was actually her mothers which is why it looked so different than the other's mages swords.

"We cannot use spells or unsheathe our swords in here." Yul told Uk.  "Let us keep our swords here."

Uk placed both his father's sword and Naksu's sword on the table.

"This is Naksu's sword that Master Lee had taken away from me." The Crown Prince said. "Did you have it?" The Crown Prince asked. Master Lee must have given it to Uk as Mu-deok was Naksu. Da-hye knew that Master Lee have had to know that.

"Yes, Your Royal Highness." Uk responded. "He wanted me to keep it safe. But Maidservant Kim did not want it at home. So I had kept it here." Uk explained.

It felt like hours had passed and yet no one had come to destroy the barrier.  Da-hye decided walked around Jeongjingak. But there was not really anywhere to really walk. The barrier was surrounding Jeongjingak therefore, there was very little space.

After a while of walking, Da-hye decided to go back into Jeongjingak and bother Yul. But as she was going in, there was someone else there as well. Of course it had to be the Crown Prince. Why did he always have to be everywhere that Da-hye went?  It was so annoying. Especially when she was supposed to be mad at him.

"Da-hye." The Crown Prince said. And of course he had to speak to her.

Da-hye did not know how to respond. "Hello, Your Royal Highness." Da-hye bowed her head. She decided to start walking inside.

"Please, wait." The Crown Prince stopped her. "Please do not go." The Crown Prince pulled Da-hye in for a hug. "I just want to say one last thing to you. After we get out of here this may be the last time I see you." The Crown Prince said. "I do not want to live my life regretting something that I could have done. Even if you do not feel the same way, I want to let you know that you will always be in my heart." 

Da-hye just stood there. She did not know how to respond. She did not know what to say either. 

"I do not want to push you away, but that is what you are doing to me." The Crown Prince pulled away from the hug. "I wanted to tell you that I will be waiting for you in case you change your mind." The Crown Prince walked inside.

Da-hye did not know how to react to this. She wanted to run to him and confess her feelings. But with everything going on and all of this chaos, there was no way they could be together.
