"Since you claim he was not threatening the Crown Prince and it was a fair fight,  how about we have an official duel?" Jin Mu asked.

"A duel between the Crown Prince and Uk?" Master Heo asked. The Crown Prince was, obviously, far more trained that Uk. Uk didn't have too much of a chance at winning.

"If you cannot do that, hand Uk over to us." Jin Mu said.  "But if you accept this, we will not ask anyone to take responsibility even if someone dies. As per the Daeho mages' customs." Did Mu-deok want to kill Uk? What was she trying to do?

"We had come here to resolve it, but look what we have done." Dang-gu said. The four of them were leaving Cheonbugwan.

"That sly snake got the better of me." Master Heo said. Da-hye walked in the front, Dang-gu and Master Heo walked behind her and Mu-deok walked behind them.

"Uk will die if they have an official duel." Da-hye paused and turned around to face them.

"What should we do?" Dang-gu asked.

"Do not worry. The Crown Prince will not take up the challenge." Master Heo said. "Ever since Maaster Seo Gyeong founded Songrim,  the royal family and the mages have never dueled before." Master Heo explained. "Both sides have kept this unspoken rules so they would not waste their energy on each other. There is no way that the  Crown Prince would break that and fight Uk."

Dang-gu nodded and they continued walking. But something didn't feel right...

"Please take up the challenge." Jin Mu told the Crown Prince.

"I do not see why I need to go against Songrim just because of that fool." The Crown Prince responded.

The truth was he didn't want to go against Songrim because of Park Da-hye. Back when he and Yul were close, he had met Da-hye and for some reason she had caught his eye. She was beautiful but her mannerisms were terrible. The Crown Prince hadn't really ever talked to her but he had heard that she was quite unlikeable.

However, he didn't think that was true as she and Yul were friends, he knew that Yul would never be friends with someone like that.

"Thanks to them, they will not be able to point their fingers at us." Jin Mu insisted. "Show Songrim exactly how strong you are."

The Crown Prince didn't know why, but there was always tension between Cheonbugwan and Songrim. It was as if they were rivals. But, he had a chance to make a good impression on Da-hye after embarrassing himself the last time they had met.

Yul, Da-hye and Dang-gu spotted Cheonbugwan mages and royal guards entering Songrim. "They are royal guards and Cheonbugwan's men." Yul said. "What is going on?"

Dang-gu was nervous but Da-hye was annoyed. Why did the Crown Prince have to accept the challenge?

"Darn it. Master Heo." Dang-gu said. "He said nothing would happen. What is all this?"

"I suspected this would happen." Da-hye sighed, crossing her arms.

"What should we do with Uk?" Dang-gu asked.

"We need to get him out without anyone knowing." Da-hye said. "If he stays here, he will either lose his arm or his life." So, Yul, Da-hye, Dang-gu, and Mu-deok planned to get Uk out of here.
