"Naksu, a soul shifter?" Master Lee asked. Wait, if he had Gwigu. That meant he knew Mu-deok was Naksu. "What an interesting rumor." Master Lee said.
"I heard Naksu shifted her soul into the body of a tall, well-built young man." Dang-gu said. If the Crown Prince had heard that before, he would not have suspected Da-hye.
"She could have shifted her soul into a body of a short, petite woman." Master Lee said. Da-hye was right. Master Lee did know about Mu-deok being Naksu.
"If she entered such a weak body, there would be no need to discard her." Master Lee said, Da-hye saw him looking at Uk. As if he was letting him know that he knew Mu-deok was Naksu but was going to turn a blind eye to it. Maybe Da-hye should turn a blind eye to it as well.
"No, I am telling you." Dang-gu said. "Naksu in blue was clearly a man, right Da-hye?" Dang-gu looked at his twin sister to back him up.
"Sure." Da-hye nodded. "The people who witnessed Naksu in Blue believed it was a man." Da-hye said. She knew it had been Uk who was Naksu in Blue.
"Naksu in Blue." Master Lee said.
"I have also heard of that nickname." The Crown Prince said.
"He covered himself with a blue cloth." Da-hye looked at Uk.
"That is right." Dang-gu said. "It became such a trend that everyone was wearing blue cloth."
"People wore blue cloths because they thought Naksu in Blue would protect them from the alchemy of souls" Yul explained. "Naksu may have been an assassin, but she never hurt ordinary people and was very strong." Yul said. Da-hye understood why Yul spoke of her this way, Naksu was his childhood friend and he used to be in love with her.
"People can be very foolish." The Crown Prince grabbed his tea cup.
"They are not foolish." Uk said. "They are frightened. Naksu's body was burned, and they all know that it was done by those with power and authority." Naksu's body had been burned by Cheonbugwan. "Calling them fools when they are actually scared is negligence." Uk looked at the Crown Prince.
"I gathered this meeting hoping to think of a solution, but you are arrogant enough to just sit there and criticize me." The Crown Prince said.
"I understand that you two wish to disparage each other, but I wish for all of us to get along amicably." Dang-gu said. "Master Lee is also here with us. Let us drink our tea." Dang-gu told them. Da-hye drank her tea.
"Your Royal Highness." Eunuch Oh said.
"What is it?" The Crown Prince asked.
"Young Lady Heo wishes to come inside." Eunuch Oh said.
Da-hye's eyes went wide and she tried to not to choke. Young Lady Heo? What was she doing here? Why did she want to see the Crown Prince? Was there something going on between them? Is that why the Crown Prince was ignoring Da-hye?
"Let her in." The Crown Prince said. Let her in? Da-hye was so offended.
Young Lady Heo entered the room.
"What brings you here?" The Crown Prince asked.
"I heard someone was injured after getting into a fight." Yun-ok said.
Da-hye sighed with relief. Young Lady Heo was probably here for Uk. Da-hye remembered that at the celebration ceremony for Uk, Master Heo had told Yul, Dang-gu, and Uk that they were all candidates. He was talking about candidates to marry his granddaughter.
"I came to take a look." Yun-ok said.
"There is only one person who got hurt." The Crown Prince said. "Take him out and treat his wounds."
