Abid With Me

Chapter 6

Serena's POV:-
"How can I don't be!" I said with little anger in my voice. "I know that, but. You know, he used to be alot cheerful and energetic kid than any of the kids, I know" mom said in a low voice.

"So, why did he changed so much!" I said still mad. I never was a type of person to forgive anyone that easily. Mom started to turn away from me. "It's -It's all because of me. All of this is my fault!" Mom said. I can laterally sense pain and suffering in her voice.

"But!- But! Ho-" I was cut off by mom. "It's been late, you should take some rest. Today was indeed a long day!" Mom said. She turned back to me and smiled slightly, then left. I stood there, without any words to say.

I decided on heading back to our room. I was walking remembering, what mom said. How can all this be her fault? I saw in her eyes that, she loves and cares about Ash so much.

As I started to going up the stairs. I realised, it's so late already. So, when will Ash is going to eat food? If he doesn't eat, he might get sick or worse. So, I decided on taking him a plate of food for him to eat in our room.

I quickly filled the plate with everything, I liked eating today. Then, I started to go to our room. It's nothing like, I am worried or anything. It's just -its just, what is that called? Haa! It's responsibility.

That's right, wife is the responsable for husband's health. So, I won't let him sleep hungry anymore. But, I'm still not forgiving him for, what he did?

I soon reached our room and find him still working. I want to give up on changing him. However, now I should give him this to eat. I don't even know, he ate anything at lunch either.

I went to him and placed the plate on his working desk. He noticed and lifted his face to see me. "Eat up! you must be hungry" I said to him. "And.. if you want, I can feed you!" I said slowly and looking away. "No! Thanks" He said and took plate from desk.

I was ready to feed him. But, is he still has to eat all by himself. More than that, I asked him so, nicely. But, he just 'No! Thanks' only that. How rude! I will never ask him anything, nothing at all. I sat on bed and took one magazines into hands.

He soon finished his meal and went to keep the plate in kitchen. I followed him to the kitchen. First he cleanly washed his plate and kept it on dinning table. Then, he went straight to our room and started working again.

I tried to read magazines but, my mind kept revising mom's words. Now, I think about it. Ash really didn't smiled atleast once today. Then, He doesn't talk much either. He doesn't even speak with his mother or the family.

As much as, I remembered mine and Ash's encounter in our childhood. He is smiling in all of them. Just like mom told me. So, why did he lost his smile. How can anybody change this much?He atleast has to smile, today!.

I started to stare at Ash. Even through, I was kept staring him. He never looked at me, not even once. He said; he was doing some extra work but. Is that really holds that much importance than me. If, that does, then, he might never love me.

I sat on bed with burying my face in my knees. He definitely doesn't like me. How could he, I don't even know anything about his past. Why did he changed? What has happened? Nothing! I know nothing about Ash.

So, what should I do? I know, Ash wasn't going to spend anytime together with me. So, all I can do is just spending time with mom in law. Is that all I have to do, as his wife. Shouldn't it's husband's responsibility to love his wife.

I wasn't really able to think anything correctly anymore. The time has passed quickly and I was getting so sleepy. I was almost asleep. But, still my thoughts are bugging me.

As I was ready to fell completely asleep. "Serena!" I heard Ash's voice. I started to feel his hands grabbing me and helped me comfortable lay down on bed. "Serena, I'm sorry" I heard Ash's voice again. "Don't-dn't mind" I replied in sleep.

"Serena, I _an_ _o t_l_ _o_ _o_eth_n_, I _o__ __u s_ _u__" I barely heard his voice. But, I couldn't able to say anything to him. Before, I can think anything else. I can't able to resist myself anymore. I fell asleep completely.

I felt like light falling on my face. I wasn't able to open my eyes for a few seconds there. I opened my eyes to find out, it's already morning. The sun is shining brightly in the sky.

As I took few glances around. I remembered, my husband Ash and my marriage yesterday. I got panicked and saw Ash wasn't there. I soon checked my chothes lifting blanket. I find my clothes intact. I breathed in relief.

So, ran off again living me alone. How rude! don't he realises, I'll be worried for him. Until I get to see him again. Well, atleast there is a possibility of him waiting for me. If that's happened, I'll hug him tightly.

I went outside in the excitement of finding Ash. But, saddly enough, it ended in disappointment. How did imagined, out of all, he'll be waiting for me. And, what's with that thought of hugging him so tightly. I'll never hug that jerk. But, even through, Ash is my husband.

So, I went to search for him inside the mansion. I also checked his study room downstairs. But, I couldn't able to find him.
