Nunew's POV.

I sigh , staring into blank space. I decided to stay at Zee's apartment for a while. Even though I wasn't used to being here without Zee , I knew I had to stay as close as possible to Zee. I look at my medicine, fiddling with it.

- flash back ( high school ) -

I look down to my phone and look around to see whether I am in the right place.

"He told me to meet him here but .. where is he ?" I thought as I sigh. Soon I heard footsteps making me turn my head to see Ton. I smile weakly as he approach me.

"Ton .." I said as I then hugged him tightly. He caressed my head as I slowly pulled away.

"Why didn't you reply to my texts and calls ? I missed you." I said as he caress my eye bag gently.

"You know what I've went through the past few days .. I needed you .. you know that right ?" I asked as he look at me.

"Well .. say something .." I said , clutching his shirt.

"Nhu. I can't.." he said , moving my hands away as he step back away from me making me frown in confusion.

"What do you mean you can't ?" I asked.

"Us .." He said as he run his fingers through his hair.

"Us ? ... Ton .. what are you-."

"I don't think our relationship can go on. So let's end it." He said , straightforwardly making my heart dropped. Tears then welled up my tears as I chuckled in disbelief.

"You're joking right ?" I asked , looking at him.

"I am not Nunew. Let's call it a end." He said coldly as I then grabbed his hand , holding it tightly.

"Ton .. don't do this na .. please don't say that .. please .." I begged as tears rolled down my cheeks.

"You're the only one I have left .. Mae .. she's gone .. I need you na .. you're my best friend .." I cried softly. He then sigh , yanking his hand away.

"Aish !! You make me sick !!" He shouted making me flinch at his sudden outburst. He then chuckled , pushing his hair back.

"Ton .. please .. calm down na .. we can talk about-."

"Mai. You know what Nhu ? I think it's about time , I tell you the truth." He said.

"Did you really think I would be with you ?" He asked.

"You're wrong." He said coldly.

"I'll be stupid enough to be with a guy. Especially you." He said as tears stream down my face.

"I am not gay. not like you , I am disgusted to be with you." He continued.

"And all this time ... I tried so hard to get the fuck away from you but you had to come to me every fucking time !!" He shouted in frustration. He sigh as I sobbed softly.

"Aww .. is our little Nhu crying ?" Asked Ton as he came towards me.

"Are you crying ? Huh ?" He asked as he placed one of his hand on my shoulder.

"Don't cry Nhu .. you'll make me cry .." he said sarcastically making me look at him in disbelief. He chuckled as he then took a step back slowly.

"Boys !" He shouted making me frown as soon his new friends came , walking towards me.

"So now .. why don't we play a game ? .. I call it .. try to survive." He said as the boys then charged towards me. I wanted to run away when his friend grabbed me , holding me tightly as Ton rolled up his sleeves. He then punched me across the face hard.

"Ah~ that felt nice !!" He exclaimed as I cried , feeling the pain building up on my left cheek. He then grabbed my jaw harshly , forcing me to look at him.

"You're just as weak as people say Nunew. You always will be a weakling here." He said before letting go of my jaw harshly making me sob. He sigh , lighting his cigarette up.

"Boys , do me a favor and .. give me a beautiful show." Said Ton smirking as he slowly stepped away , sitting on the chair as his boys then push me down to the ground harshly. I breathed hard , crawling backwards in fear as I sobbed uncontrollably. Ton's friends smirk as they inch towards me.

"Wonderful .. beautiful work boys .." said Ton as I stayed on the ground with my body hurting. Tears rolled down my cheeks as Ton kneeled down to my level , sighing.

"Be ready .. I'll make you life a miserable hell." He said before patting my cheek , getting up as he and his friends slowly walked away , leaving me there alone.

After they left , I groan , using the energy I have left to sit up. I groan in pain , holding my stomach as I sat up. My arms , face and stomach was all bruised up badly. I hugged my knees , sobbing hard , not knowing what I did to deserve all of this. First , I lost Mae. Now , I lost the very person who I thought could be my forever.

Tears rolled down my cheeks and soon the sound of the door opened was heard making me wipe my tears away , sniffling.

"Baby , I am home~ I am sorry if I was late , I decided to buy us Macdonalds .." said Zee as I tried to calm myself down from crying. Soon two strong arms snaked around me.

"How's my boyfriend doing hm ?" He asked as he rest his chin on my shoulder making me smile weakly , caressing his hands that was around me.

"Just missing you .." I said making him pull away slightly , turning my chair around so that I was facing him.

"And I miss you even more .." He said , cupping my cheeks , caressing them. He then peck my lips , smiling as he then looked into my eyes.

"You okay ?" He asked , caressing my under eyes. I look away to where my medicine was. He then look at where I was looking , seeing the uneaten medicine. He slowly made me look at him gently.

"How about we eat na ? I bought your favorite burger .." he said as he then walked around the counter. He got the food out as I watch him.

"Zee .." I said making him hum as an answer.

"Aren't you mad at me ?" I asked making him frown , looking at me as he then stopped what he was doing.

"Now why would I be mad at you hm ?" He asked.

"Because I lied to you .. about everything .. I let all of this happened .." I said , looking down.

"It's my fault .." I continued making him shook his head , walking around the counter to sit in front of me. He then grabbed my hand , holding it tightly.

"Listen to me na .. no matter what .. this will never ever be your fault." He said , caressing my knuckles.

"I am here now .. and I won't let anyone hurt you no more .. I am not going to let you fight alone .. I'll be next to you , I'll protect you ... fight alongside with you. We'll fight together na .. no matter what .." he said as he caress my cheek making tears rolled down my cheeks.

"Okay ?" He asked making me nod as he then pulled me to his embrace. I hide my face on his shoulder as he tightened his grip around me.

"I am sorry na .. for not being with you before .. but now .. I am here .." he said.

"I know this is a bad timing to say this .. but ... I'll just say it .." he continued.

"I love you .. Nunew .." he said making me freeze.
