They're Coming

Chapter 1

"Honey hurry up! It's time for school!" My mother yells as I put on my coat.

"Alright alright mother! I'm coming!!"

I dash down the stairs and to the kitchen I went.

"Don't forget to eat your breakfast sweetheart."

Ahh my mother, sweet as she can be. Curly long dark brown hair, tan skin, and a perfect smile. I guess you could say I was the spitting image of her.

"I don't have time. I'll just take it with me," I said as I grabbed a piece of toast and shoved it in my mouth.

I ran to the front door and clenched the knob.

"Have a nice day Skye. Love you!"

"Love you too mom!"

I ran out the door and to my white mustang. Today was a beautiful day. The perfect blue sky. Not a cloud in the sky.

I slowly turned the key and listened to the engine of my car start up.

I sighed "Time to go to the hell hole."

Oh how I Dreaded school. Not many people liked me. They thought I was a bit strange you might say. I mean... I didn't look strange. Just didnt talk much. I really didn't like having much attention on me anyways.

I looked out my window as I drove. Seeing happy children waiting for the bus. Cats, dogs, squirrels running about. It was so Picturesque.

I pulled into the student parking lot, and found my usually parking spot. Right beside the red Chevy and the black jeep. The owners of those cars were my only friends. My friend Liesa drove the black jeep. Dirty blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes. She was quiet like me and a bit awkward, but she was a looker. I Envied her looks. Jarrod drove the red Chevy. Jarrod was my only guy friend, he was much like a brother. His brown curly short hair, his breath taking blue eyes, and a smile the ladies would faint over. He was a charmer, and also the most social one in the group.

I turned off my car and opened the door. I looked over to the high school "Lord, please let this day go by fast."

I entered the highschool to see all eyes on me. Oh god. How I hate it when people look at me. I hate the attention. In all honesty I hated people.

I held my head down and rushed off trying to get to my class as soon as possible.

Due to not looking where I was going I suddenly ran into someone and fell to the ground. My books went everywhere.

"I'm so sorry! Here let me help you." A boy with an Irish accent said.

His accent took I me as a shock so of course I looked up. A boy with 2 beautiful blue eyes looked directly at me. He has braces and blonde hair. He was very cute.

The blonde boy squatted down and began to pick up my stuff.

"Oh no no.. You don't have to do that!" I frantically said as he began to pick up one of my stuff.

Our hand reaches for my phone at the same time. Out hand touched and our eyes ment.

We couldn't look away from each other for some reason.

Finally I broke from his gaze and grabbed my phone and books and stood up.

"I'm really sorry for the trouble. My names Niall, and I'm new to here," he stuck his hand out to me, offering a hand shake.

My body tenses up and I began to get nervous "Uhm umm.. I'm Skye. Nice to meet you..." I looked down at my phone as if I was checking the time, "oh look at that... Seems I must be going now."

I walked away from him in a fast pace as he yelled to me "Hope to see you around Skye!"

I could tell my cheeks were as red as a tomatoe...

I rushed down the hall and finally got to my class.

A girl with red hair and dresses in black was walking towards me. She seemed a bit strange. Her eyes were a grey white color and she seemed a bit shaky....

I looked down as if I was trying to avoid contacts. But it was ruined.. She grabbed me on both of my arms and got close to my face.

"They're coming Skye. Today's the day. They're coming for you and everyone else. Today's the day. You better run, and hide. This world will be ours."

Her eyes grew to a red color and she began to shake. Her voice was try deep and frightening. She finally let me go and I ran. I ran as fast as I could. I ran till I found An empty hallway. I slip down the wall and sat there.

How did she know my name. What did she mean by today's the day. Who are "they"... And why are they coming for me. What the heck is going on!?!???
