Chapter 3

"They're here Skye. Run Skye, run. They're here for you and everyone."

Fear filled every single part of my body. It was like I couldn't move.

The red headed girl's shoulder blades began to pop out of her skin, and her legs seemed to be as if she had a bad case of being now legged. Dark bags appeared under her eyes and her teeth seemed to be at a sharp point.

"What the hell!!!" Jarrod yelled and he ran back into the class.

Whatever that red headed girl was, she sure wasn't a human.

"Jarrod! Come back." I felt like I lost all feeling in my legs and I couldn't move.

The red headed girl jumped onto the fence like a jumping spider and opened her mouth and out came a Horrendous Deafening sound came out. She began to climb but the fence as she reached the top Mr.Martin came out of the class.

"Skye! Jarrod came in this class panicking like he seen...." He seen the red headed girl. His eyes grew larger and his mouth dropped open, "What the hell is that?"

That thing that resembled much like a girl made its loud Deafening call then jumped onto the Ag building then onto the highschool, then it was gone.

Suddenly, the ground began to shake, and the sky turned to a grey dull color. Then I heard a terrible now. I could tell something was here. And all I know is I needed to get as far away from this place as possible.

"Mr.Martin.. I need to go... Now."

I ran into the classroom grabbed my backpack. I looked around the class room to find Jarrod but he was no where to be found, so ran out the door. Running as fast as I can to find Liesa. Because if I find Liesa, Jarrod wouldn't be to far behind.

I opened the door to the theater room, of course she would be in there. Performing was her life, her passion. Just like it use to be mine. And there curled up the floor beside her was Jarrod. He looked so helpless. Fear filled his eyes. So Vulnerable. I'd never seen him in this state of mind.

"Liesa, Jarrod.. We need to go.. Now."

"Skye, can you please explain to me what the hell is going on," Liesa grabbed Jarrods arm helping him up.

"I don't know what's going on, I can't explain it. I can't even explain what I just saw. All I know is we need to get far away from here as fast as possible."

Liesa grabbed her and Jarrod's things and headed towards the door. I held Jarrod by the arm and tried to Pacify his panicking.

"Jarrod I promise we will be safe. I won't let anything hurt you, me, or Liesa." I brushed a small piece of fuzz from his hair as we walked to the student Parking lot.

"Since I'm the man, shouldn't I be the one protecting you guys," Jarrod tried to laugh a bit. He was still a tad shaken up from what he just seen.

Reaching out cars we threw all our stuff into Liesa's jeep.

"Uhm.. Can't you take your own cars?" Liesa looked a bit confused. She still hasn't realized what was going on, and to be honest neither have I.

"Liesa we don't have time," I said as I jump into her jeep, " I know what I'm doing. Head over to my house and fast."

As I stare out the remember the window, I begin to remember how normal my day started off. I never would have guessed it would turn out like this. I'm not to sure whats going on. And I don't understand why. All I know is something is here, and it isn't to here to make peace with us.
