Skye's POV.
Never in my life would I think I'd lose my bestfriend. Not like that at least.
3 days had past.
Tension was building.
That day when Harry and I returned to burn the body, we found Liam and Niall a bit bloody from a fist fight.
Danielle had gone missing.
But Liam was not effected by this one bit. It seems that he had grown cold hearted and bitter.
Louis and Eleanor left the day Jarrod died. I don't believe they could handle it..
But we all made a promise before they left.
The old willow tree on the hill by the creek we burned Jarrod by.
Once the war if over. We meet up at the tree. Once a year. As a reunion. Or as a memory we would never forget.
They promised.. But I highly doubt they'll show.
---------------------------------------------------
I could hear a rumbling in the late of night.
I looked around our small group to find a member missing.
I can't lose someone else.
I got up from the ground and began to walk to a noise.
In the dead of night I could hear a voice behind a tree. Crying.
"Hello," I whispered.
"Yeah, it's Liam," he sniffled.
"Mind if I see you?"
"Not at all."
The dim light of the moon provided enough light where I could see that Liam was crying.
"Want to talk about it," I asked as I took a seat beside him.
"Nah," turning his back to me.
"Liam," I said as I grabbed his shoulder, "I don't know what's gotten into you. You seem to hate life. I'm sorry I don't know what happened to Danielle. And I hope she's safe, but you can't just take it out on the group like this."
"I'm not even worried about Danielle alright?" Liam's tone grew harsh.
"Well forget it then, I'm just trying to help," I raise up from my spot beside him. Turning my back and started my way back to our camp out.
I tight grip fell upon my wrist. And a jerk overcame my body, spinning me back.
Suddenly mine face connected with Liam's. Getting loose of his grip, I shoved him away.
"What the hell Liam? What was that for?"
"I could treat you so much better then Niall does. Can't you see? I'm better for you. Since the moment I met you," his face was a mixture of anger, and sadness.
"This isn't okay. You have a girlfriend."
Liam pulled me back to him, "Skye, look at me," running his thumb across my jaw bone, "You know you'd be happier with me."
Shoving him once more, "Stop it. I'm with Niall, okay? He's the only thing I have left in this world."
"You know what? Since HE'S the only one you have left, I'm out of here. Don't expect me to come back."
Liam began to storm off. I should have chosen my words more carefully.
I chased after him and caught hold of his wrist, "Liam, where you going?"
"As far away from you as possible," his voice cold.
Pulling from my grasp, he continued to walk.
I felt the tears fill my eyes.
Holding them back, I began to run to the camp.
Finding Niall curled up beneath a tree, I joined him.
Our group, once 8, now 3.
I'd never felt an emptiness such as this. My heart ached. And now, I began to fear the future.
