"Reg," I said urgently as I shook him awake. Regulus was a prefect, so he had a personal room, which was nice for us. I hadn't stayed in my own dorm the entire year. I'd never even unpacked in there.

"What?" Reggie asked groggily.

"We could get engaged. Your parents would love that! They'd likely insist I come to stay for the summer. I'm pure blooded, my family is important. That way, I can be with you."

"Are you... are you asking me to marry you?" He questioned sleepily.

"Yes, Reg. I know it's not the most romantic, and it might seem like it's just a solution to a problem we're having. But... Reggie, I want to spend my life with you. Marry me?"

"I was supposed to ask you," he frowned as he reached for something under his pillow. I cocked my head at him as he sat up with a velvet box in his hands.

"Reg," I gasped. He opened the ring box and looked into my eyes.

"I love you, butterfly. More than anything. I would love to marry you." I kissed him before kissing all over his face. Only after a few minutes did I pull back to actually look at the ring. The band was silver and intricately swirled in a gorgeous, mesmerizing pattern. The main stone was a large breath-taking emerald, and then the band was littered with small diamond stones throughout the swirls.

"It's beautiful, Reggie," I told him with tears in my eyes.

"Here, let me," he whispered and grabbed the ring from the box. I held out my hand for him and let him guide the ring onto my finger. I held my breath as he did so, feeling like if I didn't, I was going to burst into tears.

"You're everything to me, Reggie."

"And you're everything to me," he whispered and kissed me.
