"Sir please sign these papers"
Said one of the nurses

I asked while signing them already
"We just need someone to take care of miss meria here since we are signing her out according to her own wishes...she won't be under the hospital's supervision so... You are the one who is going to take care of her while she is not here"
The nurse replied
"Why me...like...what about her family?.."
"Did they show up?"

"Mister miller...you are the only one who cared...so please continue with this"
With that she took the papers and left.

I still feel guilty, this is all my fault, I know but I have to be there, to make out for what I had done
And because she needs me the most now, and maybe cuz she has no one else other than me.

"Yes dear, now get in the car"
I opened the door again for her.

I guess now I am taking care of an adult child or something like this because when We got in and I gave her the aux to play something to us,
She just looked at me with stars in here eyes
"Aa-...AAAAA" She started screaming from excitement then she snatched the cable from my hand.
She played a song and after some time I couldn't help but realize what the lyrics were:

A couple of seconds later I kept hearing the singer repeating 'just let me love~ you~ (let me love, let me love you)'
I can't understand half of the lyrics but I guess I can relate to this song

she "sang"
I NEED TO TEACH HER THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SINGING AND YELLING

I couldn't handle my ear drums getting ripped apart. I just stopped the car and stopped the music
"What?" Her face was mad
"Maybe we can choose a much calmer song"
She then tapped on her phone for some time then I started hearing this other song
I still can't understand what the singer is saying but his voice is calming
"How about this one?"
I stayed silent for a minute that's when the singer said 'tell me something'
"Right on time,v"
"V!?" Who is this?! A celebrity crush?
"A Korean singer...and yeah, a celebrity crush"
"Oh!" This is why I don't understand anything

I feel the guilt taking over me again
"Hey can we change the song?"
"Again?!"
"I am sorry"
She just goofy ughed and started tapping on her phone again
AND LET ME TELL YOU THAT I REGRET MAKING HER CHANGE THE SONG TO THIS DAY, CUZ WHAT I HEARD NEXT WAS JUST......EWWW, I JUST WANTED TO RIP MY EARS OFF MY BODY AT THIS POINT.
"PERIOD AHH😜
PERIOD UHH🤮" she started yelling again
THATS IT
I hit my breaks so hard again that she slipped off her seat and fell while her feet were hung up above her head.
"Give it to me" I said not even looking at her
"But joji-"
She was trying to get up and sit properly
"NO, HAND IT OVER"
She did as told
The rest of the ride was actually silent, I didn't know if she was mad at me or sad that the ride home was just muted, cuz all I was seeing was an angry groomba face with crossed hands.
"Are you mad at me?"
"Mad?!"
"You look like it"
"WHAT DO YOU THINK"
"...i am sorry...I didn't mean to piss you off..."
Suddenly her attitude changed with me...she showed feelings of...care...
"Joji I cannot be mad at you, yes I forgot about you in my life but, you did nothing that would make me mad"

"Just for you to feel guilty"
"...you little adorable piece of shit"
She just chuckled and looked at me
"No but for real though, you bring me joy, joji"
I just couldn't feel happier...I was smiling for the rest of the car ride home...Why can't I stop smiling, what did she do to me...she has a lot of magic in her sleeves huh?...
