*Iofi Pov*
After a lot of thought, I decided we should go to the playground with Kaela, Zeta, and Kobo.
I telepathically explained what I wanted to do and why to Risu as I verbally said I wanted to go with the others.
We began our journey to the playground.
"Iofi-senpai I've been wondering... does your planet speak Indonesian? If not, why do you know the language? Is it some sort of translation thing?"
"We just know it; it's our natural language, and to be completely honest, I thought you humans were too primitive to understand a language such as this."
"...Iofi, do you think that your family will send someone here to look for you since you've neglected to send updates about your survey?"
"If they so, I won't care!"
"Alright..." Risu says.
We got to the playground, and Kobo ran to the swings. Risu followed and sat down on the other swing.
"Push me!" Kobo demanded
"Okay, I will!" Zeta said
"Not you!" Kobo hissed.
"Fine, I will..." Kaela states
"No, you won't!" Kobo shouts
"Who do you want to push you?" Zeta asks
"Iofi-senpai needs to push me; she has never done it before, so I want to play with her..."
Risu glared at Kobo. "Iofi, push me..."
She was competing with a child, and for what? Pride?
"Risu, I need to push Kobo..."
"I will push you, Risu!" Zeta said
"Wait, no!" I shout
Zeta looked at me, confused by my shout, since I had just said I wouldn't push Risu. However, something isn't right. I should be giving Risu attention.
"Do you want to push Risu?" Zeta asks
"I... uh... not really..."
Risu looked disappointed.
"Maybe..."
Maybe if I push Kobo, then there is a possibility Risu won't think I'm devoted enough.
If I don't push Kobo, maybe eventually this will cause some issues when our relationship deepens and we are in a parental position like Zeta and Kaela.
I could be overthinking both, but still.
Who should I push on the swing?
