EPILOGUE

I've been coma for almost a year, and when I woke up I heard my family talking. That they will ruin my fiance's life. Good thing is the doctor come in, so I started begging him to make a lie, that I have an amnesia.

At first the doctor don't approve it but I beg and I explain everything to him.

Of course it's too hard for me to pretend but I need to do everything for my girl safety. I don't want her to suffer because of my family.

" Son, your awake. Thank God," my mom happily said.

"Who are you?" i ask with a curiosity.

It's my first time pretending, and I need to act like a professional actor.

"It's me, your mom, don't you recognize me?" she sadly said.

And this time the doctor come in.

"Doc, what happen? Why don't he recognize me?"pag-alala nitong tanong.

"Sorry to say Mrs. Williams, but your son had an temporary amnesia," malungkot na saad ng doctor.

"So, he didn't know about his past, right?"my mom ask with a curiosity.

I know she feel so happy right now. All the time, she didn't like my fiance even once.

" Your right Mrs. Williams, but we had a medicine for him. So, he will recall his past memories."ngiting saad nito.

" Can we talk outside, doc?"ngiting tanong nito.

" Of course ma'am."mahinahon nitong saad.

Nang makalabas na sila ay agad kong hinanap ang cellphone ko para tawagan si Maureen. I need her help now, it might hurt my fiance's feelings but I need to sacrifice for her.

"Hello?" mahinhin nitong sagot sa kabilang linya.

"It's Zax, Reen. I need your help now." agad kong saad dito.

" Why? Is there something wrong?" pag-alala nito.

" Darling, who's that?" isang mahinahong tawag ng isang lalaki sa kabilang linya.

"It's an old friend of mine," she said softly.

"After that call, go downstairs so we can eat our breakfast, okay?" a soft voice said. I think it's her boyfriend or husband.

"Hmm, just wait me there," masayang saad nito.

"So, why you suddenly need my help Zax?" pagtataka nitong tanong sa kabilang linya.

" My mom will ruin my fiance's life, and I think she will call you today. Please say 'yes'.. truthfully I beg to my doctor's approval for my stupid plan. I act like i have an amnesia today, reen."malungkot kong ani sa kanya.

" Are you stupid? You even court for a long time and now you will pretend to have an amnesia?!"may halong inis nitong saad sa kabilang linya.

" Call me stupid, reen, I don't care. I need to sacrifice my own happiness to make her safe. I can't handle seeing her suffering because of my family,"i sarcastically said.

" So, you want me to pretend as your fiance? Is that right?"may pag-alalang nitong saad.

"Your right," i calmly said.

" I need my husband's approval first, Zax. It will hurt him, and I hate seeing him in pain," mahinahong ani nito.

"Thank you," i said softly.

She ended the after hearing those words.

I know I'm selfish this time but I need to be selfish for now. I know she won't forgive me because of my stupidity.
