Viserys was never the one to drink; his younger brother Daemon was far more known in this regard. But tonight was different, he decided. Tonight, Viserys became a father. Finally. Aemma had given birth to a healthy little girl, Rhaenyra, as they named her. And at only a few hours old, she was already known as the realm's delight. Viserys was overjoyed, but he couldn't help but feel a sense of dread. Four months had passed since his siblings' disappearance, and now he missed them more than ever. The sight of his little Rhaenerya brought back vivid memories of Daenerys' and Daemon's arrival. He remembered the excitement and happiness that filled the air when the two were born, their tiny fingers grasping his own. But now, with their sudden absence, a shadow of uncertainty loomed over him. Viserys couldn't shake off the nagging feeling that something sinister had befallen his siblings, and he vowed to uncover the truth for the sake of his newfound daughter.
"How do you feel, 'kepa'?" The voice of his father filled the room. Baelon sat beside his eldest son. (father)
"How do you, 'kekepa'?" chuckled Viserys, a bittersweet sound that held both joy and sorrow. He appreciated his father's attempt to lighten the mood, but the weight of his siblings' absence still weighed heavily on his heart. (grandfather)
"Proud. Very proud, so would your mother."
Viserys smiled at his father, then his smile dissipated. "I do wish they would be here. Daenerys would have loved her little niece. I just know it."
Baelon put a hand on his son's shoulder. "She would. So would Daemon. But it is not your job to mourn their absence. It is mine; I failed them as a father. Not you."
Viserys sighed and looked down, nodding sadly in understatement. "Do you think they are somewhere? Alive and well?" asked Viserys with hope.
Baelon nodded without hesitation. "I know it."

Daemon never felt quite as protective over anything or everyone as he did in the last three months. He had taken it upon himself to ensure the safety and well-being of his family. Ever since he learned Daenerys was with child he did not let her do anything. He insisted on accompanying her everywhere, even for the most mundane tasks. He would insist on dressing her, bathing her, and even feeding her at times. And as she told him she was pregnant and not a cripple, he only brushed her off, telling her she had no idea what she was talking about. The sad truth was, he was right. She did not know anything about babies - aside from how they are made and that they cry a lot. But to make it worse; Daemon knew nothing more, if not less.
