Chapter Twenty-nine

I swear I told myself not to do this. But, I can't help it. I'm really starting to like Raey.

There is something about her that is pulling me towards her. I know she was shocked by that kiss. I couldn't help myself. When we did pull apart, there were little snickers behind us. Bri and Tej were standing there giggling.

"Ew, uncle Dezzie" Bri yelled out.

"Get a room, silly" Tej said. I waved them off laughing. I stood up as Raey walked into the kitchen. I grabbed Raey from behind whispering in her ear.

"I'm not finish yet" I said making her laugh. I walked out grabbing her ass. She hit me in the arm playfully. Ronnie told me I was going to fall for someone one day. I just didn't know that day would come.

I flopped down onto the couch. When Ronnie came busting in with Juan and Lia following.

"Remember the trip to New York" Ronnie's voice had pure evil in it.

"Yeah" I said. I was trying to see what he was doing.

"Derrick was there, too" he said.

"Huh" I sat up straight. I thought for minute. I remembered it clearly now. The trip to New York was just utterly destruction. I remembered a lot from New York and Derrick was one of the main dudes I remembered the most.

"He's bringing in some outside help" Ronnie paced the floor so fast, thinking.

"Aye, you know who to call" I told him. I had a good chuckle knowing who to call.

"Hell yeah" he pulled out his phone going outside.

"Call who" Juan asked me.

"Our cousins Ty and Devin" I said

"You ever heard of Black Reign" I asked. He looked in shocked.

"Yeah" he said as Ronnie came back in.

"That's their father in law" I said. He looked so astonished when I said that.

"I was surprised when I find out, too" I said with a chuckle.

"He coming, too" Juan asked.

"Mostly likely" I said.

"So what was up before we got here" Ronnie said giving me the death stare.

"Nothing" I chuckled a little bit. Knowing what happened before they got here.

"Sure" he said. He sat next to Lia, talking to her. Juan was texting. I got up going in the kitchen again.

"What you doing" I must've scared the shit out of Raey. She threw a strawberry at me.

"Minding my own business" she said eating. I sat at the island.

I was staring at Raey and thinking. I don't know why it didn't come to me before.

"What's wrong" I felt Raey's hands around my waist.

"I think I now know where to find them. I walked out the kitchen with Raey.

"Yo Ronnie" I shouted. "Call Devon" he looked at me weird.

"What's going on" he asked.

"Know where to find them" I simply stated.

Now my mind was getting to where I needed it to be.

I was talking to Daria about something. She needed to tell me something important but didn't get to it when Ronnie called. He had some information for me.

Kevin and I were on a move. I swear Kira or Nadia better not be hurt. We meet up at Ronnie and Dez's offices, walking in seeing new faces.

I walked down towards Dez's office as Ronnie looked at me. He cleared his throat. Dez turned around as some girl got up leaving.

"What's up" I said. I took a seat in one of the chair.

Everybody was extremely quiet when I got in the office. It was making me nervous all of sudden.

"Why it so quiet in here" Kevin spoke up, breaking the silence.

Dez looked at Ronnie and Ronnie cleared his throat.

"We think we know where to find the girls" Ronnie said. Dez shuffled some papers on his desk.

"That's good. Where they hiding them?" I asked.

"We believe they taking the girls to a warehouse on 96st" Dez said sighing.

"Alright, let's go" Kevin said jumping up. Ronnie stopped him, still looking at me groaning.

I could tell something was wrong. I could feel the intense in the room. It was so thick; you could cut it with knife.

"What's really going on" I spoke softly.

"Something you need to know, Devon" he said.

"Like what" I said.

"That Derrick nigga" Dez said cutting his phone off as it buzzed. He simply looked me in my eyes.

"What about Derrick?" I asked.

"He's your brother" he said. I just looked him. I sat up straight about to say something but, Ronnie chimed in.

"More like your twin" he said. My heart literally stopped. When he said I had a twin, it's like million and one questions had started in my head. My parents had two kids; Daria and myself. I sat there shockingly.

"I know it's a lot to take in" he said reading my facial expression.

"This dude that has my girlfriend is my twin brother" I said, "This is some bullshit" I sat there shaking in my seat. I looked around the room. Everybody had their head down shaking it.

I just want to get these niggas and get back to a normal life again.

"Let's head out" Dez said softly but, vague. I called up Darius, telling him to meet us at 96st.

Once this shit is done, my mom about to answer every damn question I have.

Now I know what Daria was going to tell me. Damn.
