Chapter Forty-one

"Omniscient"

As chaos erupts in the town, Dez is growing frustrated with the fact that Derrick still has Raey hostaged.

With everyone now unarmed, it isn't going so well for everyone. They were slightly outnumbered and Derrick seemed to be stronger at the moment.

"Whatever you want." Ronnie started, "You got it but, just let my sister go and no damage would be done." Ronnie tried to reason with Derrick. But, Derrick had other plans on his mind.

"Alright, tell me where to find Devon and no damage to be done but, I'ma take ole girl here with me." Derrick laughed, "For no funny business, alright"

"Nah, you not taking my wife no where." Dez spoke up. He was eyeing at Juan and the couch, where he hides some guns under it. Juan caught on to what Dez was hinting at. That moment gave Juan just enough to reach for a gun just as Tej jump off on to Derrick's back.

"Let go of my mommy, nigga" Tej yelled. Letting go of Raey and losing control of the gun, Derrick slammed Tej hard on the ground making Dez dive right in to the mix as Ronnie went after Derrick's gun.

'Click'

'Bang'

All there was in the house was the sound of a gun and screaming. With a blurry vision,everybody was rushing to get outside.

Ronnie, Tyrese, Juan and a few others rushed in to following Derrick as he was getting away from the scene. The others that stay behind rushed to get to the same hospital Tyrone and Troy were at, waiting on the news of Devon and Kira.

"Stay with us. We're on our way to the hospital." Nadia screamed out.

"Keep them eyes open"

"Aye, drive more faster" Lia shouted.

"Aye, I'm pushing 180 in a 30 speed limit area." Dez cried out.

"Little man, stay awake, alright." Dez said to Tej, "After all this, we going to Disney World. Family vacation, little man"

"P-promise daddy" Tej coughed in between his words.

"Yeah, little man, daddy promises."

"Okay"

With all the talking going to keep Tej woke, Dez reach the hospital in time, rushing Tej to the emergency room.

"Come on stay with us, little man" Dez said holding on to Raey as the nurses and doctors took him back.

Dez looked down at a scared Raey holding her small baby bump too death. "Lets get check out, baby. Make sure the baby alright."

"O-okay" They went off finding another nurse to get checked out.

"Tf happened?" Troy came from the other side of the hospital.

"Raey's son Tej got shot by Derrick. They just took him back not too long ago." Tyrese said out of breath, "I-I just got word that Ronnie and them caught up to Derrick and Chris."

"We need to get there asap!"

"I heard its suppose to be a showdown."

"Troy." Tyrone came running down yelling. "Devon and Kira left."

"What you mean?" Troy looked at his older brother confused. Devon and Kira was just taking to a room from getting checked out. So, it baffled everyone that they were gone from the hospital.
