Toby laid out on the twin sized bed, a pillow tucked under his chin as he watched Ben dismantle the box tv the room came with- so much for watching something while collecting their bearings. He blinked, jolting every few moments with tics, the pillow under his chin muffled his random tic word of the day when it'd affect his speech.

"I- isn't that -fuck- dangerous ?" Toby asked curiously, watching Ben cringe as a spark flew out, he should really unplug that thing-

" Yea it is- as long as I don't bust the tube we'll be fine" he said matter of factly.

"We?"

" Yes Toby - 'we' this thing could blow ya know" Ben glanced over his shoulder, giving Toby a lazy half lidded look. Watching the boys arm jerk as a worried look crossed his face, "Ben-"

"I know, be careful I got it, I just need the wires anyway, don't mind the outlet"

"N-no I was g-going to tell you you-your nose is bleeding"

Ben blinked, and dabbed his upper lip " so it is" he muttered, quickly turning back to the tangle of wires he was pulling free, along with a small green chip board. He finished up by wiping his sleeve over his nose, Toby watched his face flush with fever once more as another wave of body sickness seemed to kick him in the face. The blonde gagged as he held back another bout of vomit. Toby carefully handed him the trash can next to the bed, watching as Ben puked blood into it, making him turn his nose up a bit, cringing at the sight.

He slumped off the bed, and leeched his way towards the male, patting his back gentle. "Y-you need help, what do you need me to do?"

Ben shook his head, wiping his bottom lip clean, "I-I gotta do this myself sadly sorry. " he muttered, Toby watched as Ben, with weak hands cut the live wire to the tv, with sparks active Toby watched as the boy became his own soldering iron, clipping and cutting wires together with ease.

"You've.. done this before?" Toby asked, watching him strip another wire and begin to roll his sleeve up, "Sorta, it's been awhile and I haven't done this since I ran from the cult but-" Ben paused, turning to Toby wordlessly and sticking his hand into the males hoodie pocket, making him jump from the sudden invasion, He watched with curious, and confused eyes as Ben fixed the sleeve he rolled up, being sure it was gonna stay in place as he shifted, "Uh, fuck. Toby this is embarrassing but can.. Can I lean on you for comfort? This is really gonna hurt and I'm not feeling all that good, I'm counting on myself to pass out" he confessed. Toby thought for a moment before shifting, leaning his back against the bed and bed frame, and patting next to him awkwardly making Ben chuckle as he crawled underneath Toby's arm, which he awkwardly wrapped around the smaller elf. He let out a sigh as they both got comfortable, he watched as Ben brought the knife up to his arm, carefully cutting and pealing the skin back, watching a few tears well up in the elf's eyes as he dug into his wrist.

"J-Jesus Ben" toby muttered, wiping his cheeks clean of the clear fluid, that was mixed with a bit of blood that fell down his cheeks as he dug a bit deeper. Ben gave the boy an awkward smile, doing his best to bare his own torture. Ben suddenly tossed the knife aside, and peeled his skin back, amongst the blood, flesh, the lake water, and black tar that filled his veins, Toby could see a mix of chips, live wires, and circuit boards mixed in among his muscles and veins. He was stunned, he watched in sheer horror as Ben plugged a wire he had attached to the board and wall into his wrist, shocking a few of the boards in his arm to life. The feverish boy sighed at this, sounding relieved as he laid his head back into Toby's shoulder, he subconsciously squeezed Ben close, staring in awe at his arm as the broken tv set pumped electricity into his veins like some type of messed up hospital IV.
