"Kendra?"

Kendra smiled widely, setting her bags down. "Surprise!"

My eyebrows raised. She was back? I thought she wouldn't be back for a few more weeks. My gaze went over to Greyson, then back to her. Greyson was still on the floor.

Kendra looked at me. "Well, I'm glad you missed me,"

I realized I hadn't really reacted the way she expected me to. I hopped up, yelling "KENDRA!" and leaping into her open arms. She laughed and hugged me back.

"I missed you too, sweetie," she said with a smile. Kendra looked over my shoulder and saw Greyson getting up off the floor.

"Hello Greyson," Kendra said with a warm smile. I saw Greyson return the smile. He came over beside me and said hello.

Kendra started to carry some of her bags to her room, and Greyson and I followed her, helping her with some of them.

"Why are you back so early?" I had to ask. Kendra looked back over her shoulder.

"I got my work done early," she said, taking out a couple shirts from her suitcase. "So, what did you guys do while I was gone?"

Greyson and I looked at each other, a blush slowly creeping on both of our faces. "Nothing." We answered in unison.

Kendra slowly raised an eyebrow. "Okay... say, Greyson, if your family is up to it, how about we all go out to dinner tonight? My treat,"

Greyson glanced at me for a moment, then looked at my aunt. "Yeah, I'll head over there in a minute and ask. First, I need to talk to Melody,"

My gaze went over to Greyson. "You do?"

He took my hand, nodded. "Yes... I do,"

Greyson and I left Kendra to unpack, and we went down to my room, and Greyson shut the door behind us.

"What's this about?" I asked, resting a hand on my hip.

"Do you this is a good opportunity to tell them about us?" He asked, taking one of his hands in mine. I looked up at him. His eyes had that shine in them, that one I always loved.

I slowly nodded. "Good thinking."

"I know," he quickly kissed my lips. "I'm gonna go talk to my parents about it, I'll text you details,"

I nodded, and he kissed me again before running out the door.

Greyson's family was on board with our plan, and Greyson and I were nervous as hell. How were they going to react? So many thoughts were running through my head. I wasn't that bad of a person, was I? Why the hell was I thinking that?

Kendra and I were driving on our way to the restaurant. I was playing with my skirt I threw on before we left. I wanted to look fancy for this. Don't judge me.

The car ride was silent, which was strange. It was like she knew I was going to tell her something. It just made me more nervous. But, we finally pulled up to the place, so it was now or never.

We got out, and surprisingly enough the Chance's pulled in next to us. I watched as they all slowly piled out, Scott and Lisa, then Alexa and Tanner, and finally Greyson climbed out from the back. He changed into his black and white plaid shirt. He knew that was my favorite shirt of his. I felt myself smile.

Greyson came over to me, and making sure no one was looking, kissed me on the cheek. "You look beautiful,"

I blushed. "You're wearing my favorite shirt,"

"For you, my dear. Anything to put a smile on your face."

He placed his finger under my chin, forcing me to look up at him. Again, I smiled. Quickly, I leaned up and pecked his lips. He leaned in for another one, but I placed my finger on his lips.

"Not until we tell them," I said, running to the door. When I looked back, I saw he was pouting, but it was adorable. I giggled and waiting for him to catch him.

We got into the place and sat down. It was strangly crowded tonight. But, at that moment I realized we were at the same restaurant we came to when I first came to LA.

When I first met Greyson.

I smiled at the memory.

I felt Greyson squeeze my hand under the table, and I looked up just as the waitress brought our drinks. I glanced over at Greyson and he smiled at me. I felt my heart melt all over again.

Greyson leaned over and whispered in my ear "You wanna tell them?"

I just looked over at him and nodded.

He nodded back and cleared his throat. "Guys?"

Everyone turned their heads towards us. I suddenly thought I could hear my own heartbeat.

"We have something to tell you,"

"What?" Tanner asked, taking a swig of his Pepsi. I swallowed the lump in my throat. Greyson squeezed my hand tighter.

Greyson cleared his throat. "Melody and I are officially a couple."
