My eyes wandered over to Greyson's, his eyes seeming dark and depressed. Those brown orbs I had known for so long as the lovely shade of brown they usually were, were dark and mysterious now.
It was the day we both has dreaded coming. It was August 3rd, which meant they school for me started in eight days. We knew this day would come like a speeding bullet, but neither of us actually took that into our thoughts.
We were on the plane back to Baltimore. Greyson and I planned on him staying with me for about two more days, then he would have to go back, no matter how badly neither of us wanted to leave the other. I just kept thinking about how my mother would react; she was throne who mainly saw my Greyson fan girl side. How would she react when I came back with the Greyson Chance and explained to her that we fell in love and got together?
"Greyson?" I whispered, looking back over at him. His head turned to look at me.
"Yes, sweetie?"
"When you go back to LA... What's going to happen to us?"
Greyson just kept his eyes of mine for a moment, before pulling his headphone out of his ear and shoved his iPod in his pocket.
Greyson took my hand and rubbed the back of my hand with his thumb. "Honey, I want you to know that no matter how much distance is put between us, my love for you will never change. You'll always be the one I think about and the one I love, nothing will change that."
"You promise?"
"I promise with my life."
Greyson kissed me, and it was like our first kiss on our first date. "I love you,"
"I love you too."
He pulled back and looking in my eyes again. "Forever and always."

The airport scene reminded me of the day I first arrived in LA. Crowded, people walking all around, appearing as I'd they has just seen the people they were associating with for the first time in months. Greyson's hand held mine, squeezing it occasionally. My eyes searched the area, trying to look for my mom.
"Do you think your mom will hate me?" Greyson suddenly asked as we stopped near the long bench in the middle of the airport.
"My mom will love you!" I exclaimed. "I've told her a lot about you... You know, before we got together."
Greyson laughed. "I still remember you with my t-shirt on and the surprised looked when you found out that you were talking to 'the Greyson Chance.'"
"Shuddup!" I yelled, whacking his arm as he chuckled.
"Melody?"
Both Greyson and I looked up to find my mother, a woman who appeared to look in her mid to late thirties and had brown hair that reached to her hips was approaching us. Her outfit consisted of some faded jeans and she wore a blue jacket that was zipped and the sleeves were pushed up. I ran to her and hugged her tight; I've missed her a lot.
"Hi, honey," she said, pulling away from our hug. "Did you have fun in LA?"
I just nodded. "Mom, there's someone I'd like you to meet."
She followed me over to where I left Greyson at. He looked up at us.
"Mom, I want you to meet Greyson... Greyson Chance."
My mothers eyes widened a bit, and she turned to gaze from me to Greyson.
"You met Greyson Chance?"
I nodded, and Greyson stood up and came over to us. "It's nice to meet you, mam."
My mom just laughed. "Please, call me Elizabeth."
Greyson nodded and smiled.
I coughed and faced my mother again. "Mom, can Greyson stay with us for like two days?"
My mom shrugged. "Sure, why not?"
As Greyson started to grab my bags (because he's just a gentleman like that) and we all started heading for my mom's car, I said "Oh yeah, and when we get home, there's a lot of stuff I need to explain."
