"I heard that the Prince is not in a good condition. Is my wife alright?"

What? Wife? Who?

This is their so called "Mahal na Hari"?

Unti-unting lumapit sakin ang lalaki at umupo sa gilid ng kama. He smiled sincerely at me.

What should I do?

He touched my right cheek and smiled, "How are you feeling?"

"You should rest if you're still not feeling well. It would be bad to force yourself," he said.

Wala na akong ibang masabi kaya tumango nalang ako.

Lumingon ang "Mahal na Hari" sa matandang babae, "Nainom na niya ang gamot?" tanong niya sa matanda.

Umiling ang matandang babae, "Hindi pa ho, Mahal na Hari."

Napakunot nang noo ang Hari, "And why is that? He's not feeling well, it's your reponsibility to take care of him," seryosong sumbat niya sa matanda.

"Paumanhin, Mahal na Hari," sabi ng matanda sabay yuko.

"Have you already eaten?" Lingon naman sa akin ng Hari.

"Uh..." should I say that I still haven't? Kakagising ko lang eh.

Seeing my expression, he stood up, "He still haven't eaten anything?" He asked loudly.

The maids flinched. All of them immediately knelt down, "Paumanhin, Mahal na Hari!"

Dahil sa pangyayaring to, nataranta din ako. He's the King afterall, we're aware of the king's power and intimidation. He's the highest of the highest in this kingdom, I guess?

"Uh no..." I interrupted without thinking.

He looked back at me, but the strange thing is... when he looked back at me, he already had a soft expression on his face.

"Actually, I just woken up, that's why... I haven't eaten anything yet," pagrarason ko.

He sighed, "Still, they should've prepared everything already after knowing you've woken up," sambit niya at umupo ulit sa tabi ko.

"Get his food ready and deliver it here," utos niya sa mga tagasilbi. Dali-dali naman silang yumuko, "Masusunod, Mahal na Hari."

There's really something weird happening here, I mean, the way this king treats me. And then, what's with the "wife" word when he just entered recently? And first of all, what's my name in this world anyway? Dang it, I can't act suspicious. What if pag nalaman nilang hindi ang totoong nagmamay-ari ng katawan ang nandito, what if patayin nila ako? I don't have a clue yet of what happened to my original body in there!

Nagulat ako nang maramdaman kong may malamig na bagay ang dumapo sa noo ko. I looked up and found out it was the King's palm.

"You still have a fever, you shouldn't force yourself that much," he declared. Kumuha siya ng basang towel na nasa gilid ng kama at nilagay sa noo ko. Nakaupo pa ako kaya't inaalalayan niya ang towel na hindi mahulog.
