"I mean, you'd always distant yourself naman talaga pero kahit dati pa palagi mo nang tinititigan mula sa malayo si Haring Al. You cannot take it anymore and made a move ba?" Juliana said, teasing.

Chapter Eight

I am an introverted person, in my original world, to be honest. I would often stay at home and play games all day. Kahit anong pilit sa akin na lumabas nina Mama at ng kapatid ko, kung hindi naman importante ay hindi talaga ako lalabas.

I hated crowds. Mas lalong ayaw ko sa lugar na wala talaga akong kakilala at walang gagawin kundi tumunganga. I would immediately regret the decision of going out. I'd rather lock myself in my room and stay in there all day, frustrating myself in my games!

Kaya nang makita ko ang tao sa lugar na ito, I almost stepped back! But unfortunately, a hand, that was still snaked around my waist is stopping me from moving. Mas lalong kumabog ang dibdib ko. Can't he put his hand somewhere else? I cursed under my breath.

"Hey, relax. I know you hated large crowds but worry not, I'll stay beside you. Just calm down, okay?" Al whispered, with soft and assurance. I breathed hard but I did not reply to him.

"Raven." I called inside my head. Kahit hindi ko siya nakikita, alam kong nasa paligid lang siya.

"Mm?" he answered.

"Are you okay?" nag-aalalang tanong ko.

"I am, don't worry. Sa'yo ko naman ibabaling ang buong atensyon ko, eh." he answered. I can't hear any hesitation on his voice.

"That's great, then." sagot ko naman.

Nahinto na ako sa paggamit ng telepatiya kay Raven ng makarinig ako ng malakas na boses ng babae. A middle aged woman.

"Hello, Your Majesty, Al! It's been a long time since we saw each other. Oh, how I've missed you." sambit nito habang papalapit sa amin. Dahil sa lakas ng boses niya, napunta sa amin ang atensyon ng mga taong nasa harap ng palasyo, nasa hardin, to be exact.

Everyone started to greet Al and me. All I did was just to smile and say a few words of greetings like, "Hello", "Hi", "Nice to meet you", and so on!

"Ohohoho, what is this? Your pretty husband is here for the first time. How are you doing, Your Highness?" she turned to me and bowed her head as a sign of respect.

Nataranta ako dahil parang kilala ata ito ni Al. Hindi ako sigurado kung sino ito?!

I hesitated and smiled warily, just as I was about to greet her too, Al's voice caught my attention.

"This is Duchess Dian Filatio, Duke Filatio's wife, Darling." Al simply introduced.

Agad rin akong bumaling sa babae, "No need for formalities, Duchess. We're all here as a guest." I tried my best to squeeze this words out! For the past few days, I did not only searched for the reason of my transmigration here. To avoid conflicts, I tried to study the way this royalty and nobles would interact to each other. Memorized the words they'd often use when meeting other royalties too and other formal words! Goddamn!

Sa Duchess palang na ito, parang nauubusan na ako ng enerhiya, ano pa kaya pag papasok pa kami mamaya? I can't!

Nakakapit pa rin sa bewang ko si Al habang nakikiusap rin sa iba pang bisita. Mayroong iba ring Hari at Reyna ng ibang kaharian na pinakilala sa akin si Al, at nagawa ko na lamang ay kunting pagsalita rin ng pormal na salita. Mas marami pa rin ang mga Duchess at Duke, anak ng mga noble, at mga prinsipe o prinsesa, at ang mga tagasilbi nito.
