Chapter Eleven

Napamulat ako ng makarinig ng ingay sa paligid. Kahit hindi naman gaano kaingay ay may naririnig akong mahihinang boses na mahihina ring nagsisigawan.

I turned to the direction of the noise. There I saw Jaye and Juliana screaming at each other in a whisper way.

"Alam mo naman na matigas ang ulo ni Julius. No matter what you do, he'll never listen!" bulong ni Juliana.

"That's why I told you it's better for him to be with us! T-that king don't know how to restrain him either!" Jaye blurted out.

"Are you dumb? They're already married! Why would you even get in their way?! Ugh!" Juliana frustratingly replied.

"Are you in a debate competition?" I interrupted before Jaye can answer. Both of them jerked their head off immediately to my direction. Juliana overreactingly gasped. She stood up.

"J-Julius! Are you alright? Kamusta ang nararamdaman mo?" Juliana hurriedly checked my wrist to feel my pulse. She sighed in relief after knowing I'm alright.

Kahit masakit pa ang katawan ko, I tried my best to sit up and Juliana helped me.

As far as I can remember, this is the first time that I had fainted like this. Kahit na doon sa orihinal na mundo namin ay di pa ako nahimatay. Obviously, that unexpected explosion would really cause damage to my consciousness.

Pagkatapos kasi hampasin ng lalaking iyon ang kaniya dibdib, ge exploded. At dahil ako ang mas pinaka malapit sa kaniya ay nadamay rin ako. The last thing I felt was that my body flew and collided with something.

"Ano'ng nangyari?" I asked, wanted to know what had happened after I fainted.

Juliana looked at me with serious face, "Jul, hindi ko nagustuhan 'yung ginawa mo. W-what if...you were..." bago pa man niya matapos ang sasabihin ay umiyak na ito. Jaye has no other choice but to comfort Juliana.

"Tatlong araw kang natutulog, Kuya. We're still currently at the Kingdom of Larden. Ate Kiyara tried her best to heal you after that explosion, she was so exhausted and fainted after healing you. Luckily, maayos na rin siya ngayon." Jaye started while caressing Juliana's back who's still sobbing.

Three days? That long?

"What happened to that knight?" The very main case is that guy.

Jaye shook his head, "It was a suicide. He's dead after he exploded. King Al mentioned that there's a Core Magic Bomb that was planted inside his heart. At ang paghampas niya sa kaniyang dibdib ang nagtrigger nito, kaya sumabog."

"Marami bang na apektuhan na nandoon?" I asked, curious. Sa pagkakaalam ko, malaki ang pagsabog na nangyari dahil nakarinig pa nga ako ng mga sigawan. Hoping that the casualty is not huge.

Itinaas ko ang tingin ko kay Jaye pagkatapos marinig ang sinabi niya. Although he'd always display his cold look, there's currently a soft and warm expression plastered on his face.
