Lampró Astéri (The Radiant Light): Immune to all status effects from divine origin. Allows the user to temporarily borrow the power of a hero the user has read. The strength of the borrow power corresponds to the user's feelings
A skill with a simple description.
Basically, it borrows the parameters and legends of the hero the user chooses, though it is only restricted based on the knowledge the heroes they read.
But, it can go deeper than that.
Bell can use parts of the legends in the hero's story including their feats and Noble Phantasms- even borrow the power that killed the heroes in their story.
Theoretically, Bell can use the same venom: the Hydra's venom, that kill Heracles, though since the venom is so potent, he can only use it for 1 second.
And though Heracles story is ended, it is still continuing in the modern age. Their are countless stories with the characters with the name Heracles, so no matter what circumstances or requirements, Bell can borrow the power that Heracles have or died from.
That includes Heracles defeat from Shirou Emiya's Nine Lives Blade Works.
Of course, that'll make the skill OP. But the limitation is that all of these are imitations.
Hydra's venom for example could kill anyone instantly or cause eternal pain for immortal beings, but if Bell were to borrow it, it will kill anyone that is below level 4 and the pain will disappear for 2 minutes those that are higher level and won't affect gods.
Also with parameters. Bell can only borrow one stat of the hero and the stat he choose is halved. If Bell chooses Achilles agility, he only gets half of Achilles speed. If he chooses Heracles strength, he only gets half of Heracles strength.
The biggest limitation is that it consumes mind in a tremendous speed. Bell with his current level can only choose one of the options: borrow the hero's parameters, or borrow their legends. In the previous chapter, he would've died if Hestia Knife was not with him. Since the Hestia Knife is a divine construct and was designed to be Bell's partner weapon, it can reduce to load on Bell, but the cost of death will turn to be Bell being unconscious.
Another skill of this skill is the immunity of status effects from divine origin.
I won't go deeper into since the skill will activate later in the story.
Anyway, Lampró Astéri is a powerful skill in Bell's arsenal that will help him in his journey, but with his current levels right now, he'll have to wait until the time is ready.
