Bell charge towards the Silverback with determination in his eyes.
The Silverback roar as it launch a attack towards him. Bell duck, avoiding the attack and use this chance to slash the Silverback's arm... But it received no damage.
Bell: !
Bell quickly avoided a swipe attack from the Silverback and jump back to gain some distance. The monster let out a huge roar as it jump to the air to do a ground smash. Bell runs where the monster will smash, but he wasn't fast enough to avoid the shockwave. The shockwave from the Silverback's smash send Bell flying towards the wall with bell coughing out blood.
Bell tried to stand up, but the aftereffects of the shockwave linger and Bell sees the monster charging towards him with its arm ready to smash him into meat paced. Fear should've controlled him. Bell's instinct told him to flee because this opponent is impossible to defeat. His body telling him that he can't run. But his mind said otherwise.
Bell: I won't run! I won't leave the girl behind to defend herself from a monster!
Ignoring his body and instincts command, he charge at the monster. The monster sees him charging at him, thinking that the puny human is suicidal. It launch its attack at the young Adventurer, but Bell dodge it in a split second, feeling the pressurized wind slash his cheek.
Silverback: !
Bell jump on its legs and raise his knife, ready to stab the Silverback's head.
Bell: Haaaaaaaaaa!
With burst of energy, he put all his might into that attack, but...
*shatter*
Bell: ...!
The knife he got from the Adventurer's guild shattered. A weapon not designed to fight against monsters from any floors lower than the recommend floor for newbies. With this chance, the monster strike Bell with its palm, sending Bell crashing into the wall of a house, destroying it.
Bell lay as his body was filled with his bones breaking. His internal organs damaged from that attack. His vision was blurring, but he sees the faces of a family cowering in fear as the monster put its head in the hole Bell crashed. It sees the boy down lying on the floor unmoving. It put its arm inside and ready to grab Bell to finish the job. Bell remembers what the voice said.
Observer: That Silverback right there is strengthen, not the one you or Orario know of.
Bell: So that's what the voice meant... If a level 2 or lower were to be hit by it, they would've instantly die. I'm the one lucky to survive that attack...
As the monster's hand get closer, he sees the mother crying her children.
Bell: ...Stand up, Bell! You can't lie here and wait for the monster to finish you!
Rejecting his body to rest, Bell stands up, shocking the family and the monster. How can they be surprise. Bell's whole body was bleeding. His arms and legs looking that they will snap from the wind. His knife shattered, leaving a weapon with no blade to pierce the monster's skin. But, Bell defy that. He will not go down that easily without a fight. His thought only thinking one thing.
Bell: I want to be a hero!
Like fate was answering to his call, his back glows in golden light as his stats go up according to his desire.
