Asclepius is having financial troubles.
Although he still have enough money from the village to stay in an inn for a few days, he needs more money to buy materials he need for his medicine.
And he does not want to work in a labor job or jobs that makes him interact with people unless its medicine related.
Asclepius: This is a conundrum. I lack the funds for my medicine.
Asclepius knew that he's in the Age of Gods, and he can the gods ichor for his medicine, but...
Asclepius: Every time I ask them for their blood, they look at me weird. Do they not know that I am a doctor.
Since gods don't get sick or do any medical procedures, they see Asclepius as a weirdo.
Asclepius: *sigh* What do I do...
He look at the streets on top of a roof, where Adventurers are mingling with the stalls and talking to one another. He scanned the crowd when he sees a person with a bag. Dark blue hair and wearing a black robe. He sees them moving through the crowd.
Asclepius: I sense divinity from him; probably a god.
He watches when he sees the god bumps into someone. He sees the man apologize the Adventurer and give out a potion.
Asclepius: Looks like he is giving out a potion to that Adventurer. He's probably going to charge him.
The god did the opposite and give the Adventurer the potion for free.
Asclepius: * cough*
Asclepius cough out blood and fall on to the roof.
Asclepius: He... he give out medicine for free... Who does that!? Is this god an idiot?! You don't give out stuff for free, everything has a price!
Asclepius is what you can say, a doctor and a capitalist. Yes, he creates medicine to save lives, but he put prices on every thing he does. Medicine, medical procedures, check ups, etc.
So, Asclepius, was ticked off that the god give it out for free.
Asclepius sees the man give out potions to Adventurers for free.
Asclepius: My capitalist spirit is crying!
He cried out blood when the god continue to give it out free. All the money that Asclepius can imagine; gone, down the drain.
Asclepius: This god needs to learn the spirit of capitalism like all doctors.
So, he stands up and drop to the ground and follow the god.
Asclepius move through the crowd and spotted the god and follow him. As he follow, he continue to cough out blood every time the god give potions for free.
Asclepius continue to suffer until the god reaches a pharmacy.
He watches the god enters and Asclepius sneakily follow, but does not enter.
He peaks through the window, not fully, and sees the god chatting with a woman with dog ears.
Asclepius: A chienthrope. One of the races of this world.
He watch them talk, though he sees the woman with an irritated face. Probably irritated that the god give out potions for free, which Asclepius agrees.
Anyway, they continue to talk until they go towards the back.
Asclepius stops peaking and opens the door slowly.
He enters the shop and see their products.
He grab a potion from the shelf and examine it.
