Karishma was sitting on the bed, her slight smile indicating a glimmer of hope amidst the tension between her and Haseena. Suddenly, a thought snapped into her mind, and she reached out to grab her phone from the side table. However, in her haste, the bottle beside it accidentally toppled over, grabbing Haseena's attention. She rushed towards Karishma, her expression a mix of concern and annoyance.

"Hospital ka mohal itna acha lag raha hai k yehi rehne ka intezam karna hai kya," Haseena asked, her hands on her waist, her annoyance evident.

Trying to explain, Karishma fumbled, "Mai vo, mera matlab hai–"

"Kuch chahiye aapko?" Haseena interrupted in frustration.

"I was just trying to grab my phone," replied Karishma, looking down awkwardly.

Haseena's annoyance softened, and she asked softly, "Humse keh deti toh konsa padh tut padta."

"Vo side mai hi tha mujhe laga itna toh mai kar hi sakti hu na" replied Karishma in an embarrassed tone.

Haseena understood Karishma's intention but couldn't hide her irritation. She said, "Aaj sirf pair ka cast khula hai, haath ka khulne mai 2 hafte lagenge, aur dr ne moments bhi limit karne bola hai taki injuries pe stress na aaye."

It left Karishma a bit helpless and irritated as she bowed her head down.

Haseena shook her head in amazement and couldn't help but taunt, "Aapko shayad pata nahi hai par ye real accident tha koi filmy ya kahani wala nahi k aap dusre din ekdam fit and fine"

Karishma's irritation flared up at the taunt, and she retorted, "Baapree, ye jo tum tane marti ho, iska koi course hota hai kya?"

Haseena forced a smile and sarcastically retorted, "Ji nahi, vo kya hai na, aap jaise bad dimag, sanki, namaqool..." Her words trailed off abruptly as she looked stunned at Karishma, who was smiling as if she was showering her with the most lovely words in the world.

"Ruk kyu gayi galib, please continue," urged Karishma, her smile still radiant as she looked lovingly at her.

Once again taken aback by Karishma's unexpected response, Haseena couldn't help but mutter, "Sach mai saar ki chot ka asar hua hai kya dimag par."

"Please, aur suno na," Karishma insisted, her smile unwavering.

"Hum gana ga rahe hai kya jo 'aur suno na' keh rahi hai?" Haseena retorted, feeling slightly irritated.

"I really missed it," confessed Karishma genuinely as her smile remained unfaltering.

Haseena widened her eyes and was stunned for a moment.

"Tumhari chupi chub rahi thi mujhe," Karishma continued, her voice filled with sincerity. "I missed everything about us, Galib."

Haseena felt a lump in her throat, as this unexpected honesty in Karishma's words touched her heart. To divert the topic and ease the intensity of the moment, she fumbled, "Ye lijiye aapka phone, aapko chaiye tha na."

But Karishma wouldn't let the moment pass so easily as she gently said "Thank you, but let's not change the subject." As she could sense Haseena's hidden emotions beneath and with her voice filled with sincerity, she added, "I mean every word I said."

Haseena's heart skipped a beat, and she fumbled, "Hum vo... Vo Pushpee ko dekh k aate hai." She tried to put up a brave front, but Karishma's words were melting the walls around her heart.

As Haseena was about to walk out, Karishma gently held her hand. Her touch was warm and comforting, and Haseena couldn't help but feel a rush of emotions surging through her. Karishma softly said, "Dekho, I can't walk behind you. Mere aisi halat ka fayda mat uthao."
