Chapter 12

"Alright you love pidgeys, its time to wake up!" my dad says knocking vigorously on my room door. this woke me up with a scare, but calmed down knowing it was probably my dad being loud again.

before even waiting for an answer, he opens my door which i should really get a lock for. Dad then walked into my room like he owns it, and stands at the foot of the bed. keep in mind me and frostsia are still asleep, well i'm half asleep at this point.

"Well, isn't this cute, son? usually, I'd pull the covers off you to wake you up... But i don't think i wanna see what's going on under there" he points towards us and giggles. It takes me a second to realize what he had just said. I couldn't help but blush.

Dad leaves my room and lets me know that breakfast will be ready in 10 minutes, so i begin to wake up frostsia. "mmmh?" frostsia groans just waking up. Even when shes waking up shes still so cute.

"Frost, breakfast will be ready soon, we must go eat soon okay?" i explain to the barely awake glaceon. "mmm okay" she mumbles in response. as i'm about to get out of bed i feel a cold pair of paws pull me back down, giving me chills down my spine...literally.

"wait for me" she said pulling me closer to her body, struggling to stay awake. i knew a secret way to wake her up effectively, all i had to do was the perfect execution. I turned to face her seemingly leaning into giving her a kiss. this was my time to strike.

i blew air on her nose which is a pet peeve of hers, knowing id only have a small window to escape i get out of bed as fast as possible. I giggle looking at the glaceon glairing at me. "Alright mister, this how you wanna play? get back here silly!" she says giggling and starting to chase me.

Yet again i have fooled her, i run downstairs into the dining room and take a seat. both my mom and dad were giving me a odd look but didn't dare to ask. just a moment later frostsia runs down the stairs into the dining room.

"just in time frost" i say with a smug look on my face, knowing that the glaceon realized my grand plan. The look on her face was priceless. i couldn't help but start laughing. 

My parents who were very confused on what was happening; started to bring out the food to the table. The smell was so fantastic! it made me drool a little bit. can't resist oran berry pancakes.

Mom and dad left too go do some errands, while me and frostsia were still relaxing at the dining table.  We were in pure bliss after the amazing breakfast we had together. 

I remembered that i planned to take her out to explore the town today, so I told her to get ready to headout.

"alright frost lets get going! there's a couple spots I wanna show you today" I announce. im feeling pretty excited to show frostsia around my hometown today. we haven't really gone on a proper date in a while.

"alright lux lets go!" she shouts coming down the stairs, her fur shining with the soft light from the hallway. sometimes I forget how beautiful she is!

now that the both of us are ready, we walk out the door and begin our journey!

The two of us walked down the street taking in the autumn leaves, all the different shades made it look like a fire. Seeing all the familiar surroundings made me reminisce my childhood growing up here.

Since we left early in the morning not many people were around, I enjoyed just listening to the sound of the crunchy leaves being rustled by the slight breeze in the air. 

The towns silhouette was starting to appear over the hill me and Frostsia were walking over. I saw the look on frostsia's face, she looked so excited too explore the town that i was raised in.

as we got closer we saw the cobbled buildings all varying in sizes, with there brazen brown roofs pointing up towards the sky. I recognized some of the buildings, as i feel memories of my childhood flooding in. some memories were good...some were bad.

"Lux! Look at all the cute places!? Can we check them out!? Pleaaseee!!" frostsia said overflowing with excitement and wonder. "Of course we can love, lead the way!" I replied to my very energetic girlfriend.

she wanted to check out all the stands in the shopping district of the town, and while she was distracted, probably look at something shiny, I Bought a necklace I think she would like. I have to make sure she doesn't find out, I want to surprise her with it.

After a little bit we both became hungry so we decided to find a café to eat at. While we were walking aimlessly, we saw a sign that looked familiar. Realizing its the café we go to back in the city! There was a small notice by the door saying that it was a second location that just opened. "huh, cool"

when we walked in the café had a very similar vibe to the one in harbourfront, Very inviting and cozy. A very tall stoic looking Zoroark walks up to us when we entered. "Hello and welcome! a table for two i assume?" the mon asks us. I nodded yes.

he brought us too a table and we  sat down. The waiter said he would be back to take our orders, so me and frostsia just talked for a bit.

The zoroark came back and took our orders. "what would you two like?" he asked me and frostsia. "id like a bagel and a cup of coffee please" I respond. "hmm id like a slice of pecha berry pie please!" frostsia replied. The waiter jotted down our orders and went to go prepare them.

after a solid 10 minutes, he brought the food to us and we began to eat our food, enjoying our peaceful time together on our little date

The sun was beginning to set and the sky radiated shades of orange and pink. The café was going to close soon. This was all a clear sign to tell us we needed to head home, so we did just that.

on our way home i noticed a mon that looked familiar.. but not from this town, i remember seeing them but from where? they don't seem the friendly type either...

A/N: lol i finally posted new chapter, hope the length is worth it, its double my usual chapters (i kinda forgot the lore of the book so if there's plot holes... oops :3)
