The Door slammed shut as my heart shattered into a million pieces. No one had ever survived a night in the Maze. No one. Ever. The Glade was so silent you could hear a pin drop.
Eventually, the silence was drowned out by soft sniffles. I looked down and saw Chuck in tears. Poor kid.
Everyone began to leave hopelessly until no one remained except for Newt and I.
He turned to me and tilted his head to the side.
"Are you..." He pulled my hood down, revealing my E/C eyes and H/C hair.
"Y/N? What're you doing here, love?"
I shakily sighed, running a hand through my hair as I realized how much I'd miss Thomas. It was like a piece of me was missing.
I sighed as I stepped away, returning to the Deadheads.
Once I made it to my little home, I let the hot and salty tears drench my face and clothes.
I took the hoodie off and wrapped it around a branch. I snuggled into my hammock silently sobbing, wishing that Thomas was here to comfort me.
