Three

Allie:

I stand outside Ryder and Aspens house, Quinton couldn't come because he had a business meeting and I didn't tell him that Ryke is Ryders brother so he would never let me go other wise.

I held a basket under my arm as I knocked onto the front door. About three minutes later the door opens and I see Ryke standing in front of me. His tall and broad structure taking up most of the door way.

"I come baring gifts." I gesture towards the three bags next to my feet and a basket in my arms. He held out his arms for me to pass the basket over to him. And grabbed the three bags. "I can carry this myself you know." I shrugged.

He rolled his eyes. "I know, but your a guest." He said and I rolled my eyes placing the basked in his hands and we both walked inside. "Allie!"  Aspen came running down the hallway and as soon as she saw me. "Welcome back." She hugged me. I hugged her back.

"Thank you." Ryke comes back and sees me with her. I'm a lot tinier than Aspen and she's quite small. "Hello Allie." I looked over to see Ryder and I smiled. He's got bruised face and broken arm. I know he's got more but they're all hidden from his shirt.

"Hey Ryder." I smiled. And I thought Ryke was tall he was a lot more. I keep forgetting how tall he is. "So, where are you staying?" She asked me. "The house on WillowCreek road." She gave me a nod. "Come on, you should see Keaton and Koen." I laughed.

"Darling, are you forgetting something?" Ryder asked her and she stares at him and gave him a shrug. "The food." Her face drops and she turns towards Ryke. "I'm not cooking." He held his hands up and rolls her eyes.  She rolls her eyes. "Ryder, mind taking her to meet Keaton and Koen?" He nodded and kissed her temple. "Come on, Allie." We walked up the stairs and to the first door.

I heard this cabin only had on floor and no walls only for the toilet. But, they built a lot for the twins. We walked inside. Two kids were playing with their toys.

I smiled. "Keaton Koen?" They both flicked their heads up. "Who's who?" I asked as I stared at them. "Koen looks like me." He gestures to the little brunette who's holding a Spider-Man. He's smiling at me. "Keaton is the one that looks like Aspen." I looked to the blonde one and he had an Iron man toy in his hands.

"Who are you?" They asked me. Their blue and brown eyes stare into mine. Ryder turns for me to answer their question. "I'm Allie. A friend of your mother and father." I tell them and they thought for a minute. They both stand up and waddled over to me. "Kea-ton." I smiled. They're still getting use to their names.

"Lovely to meet you Keaton." I smiled and he smiled back up at me. Koen waddled over to me. He has a smile on his face. "Ko-en." His smile is even bigger than most I've seen. "Lovely too meet you Koen." He smiles and they both go to play with their toys.

"Dinner!" Aspens voice rings out from down stairs. "You don't mind carrying one?" He asks gesturing to his arm and I shook my head. "Of course not." I picked up Keaton and he picks up Koen and we headed downstairs.

I saw Ryke down the stairs and he meets my eyes instantly. His eyes glistened with something I can't put my finger on. He sees the child in my arm and his lip twitches. He wants to smile. But he's too stubborn and grumpy to let it loose.

I finished walking down the stairs thinking I would have put Keaton down but we never we walked into the kitchen and placed them both in high chairs right next to the table, Ryder sat one side and I don't sit next to the other one probably because Aspen would like to and help them feed.

I sit down on one of the chairs and Ryan sat opposite me, Ryle and his wife Valencia sat two chairs down which leads on chair left, and he sits next to me, I gulped I thank god for Quinton not being here.

We all started to eat the dinner that Aspen made for us. Aspen and Ryder was helping the boys to eat the rest of the food. I took a sip of my water that I got. "Where's Quinton?" Aspen asks and then stuffs her food into her mouth. I stop halfway to my mouth.

"He couldn't come, he had a business meeting." I tell her before stuffing my face with the food. I haven't ate because Quinton stopped me. And kept telling no one would love me if I'm underweight. That's why I'm always wearing over sized hoodie. So I can hide it.

"That's sad, I've only met him once and I would love to meet him again." She says with a smile. Yeah one day. But not any time soon. I'm too scared now that he'll see him again near me and freak out. And use his anger on me.

I sit there awkwardly. "Yeah. I'll set up a meeting at our house." I can do it here. He'll find out that Ryke's brother is Ryder and we'll never speak. She nodded and I took a sip out of my water.

I felt a pair of eyes staring at me. I flicked my gaze to everyone on the table except for one. No one was staring so I know who exactly who it was staring at me. I flicked my gaze to look at him. His eyes are full of confusion. He must've saw me sitting the uncomfortably.

Great. He knows something is up with me and Quinton because I was fine a second ago. His jet black hair sways in front of his eyes. Water is dropping from the strands. Stop looking at him. I turned around and I see Ryder staring at the both of us and rolled his eyes.

We finished up the meal and I brought the plate into the kitchen. "Oh don't worry Allie. I'll do this." Aspen says and I shake my head. "It's fine." I reassured her. Makes me a stay a little longer and away from Quinton.

We finished up the dishes. "All-ie!" I flicked my head to see the Keaton. I smiled. "Hey kiddo." He waves me goodbye. "Good- night." He yawns as I see Ryke coming to grab him and heading up to the bedroom.

"Thank you for having me." I tell him. And she nodded. "Try and bring Quinton next time, Ryder and Quinton hit it off last time and it's been a while since that happened."

"I will." Not. I'll just pretend that I would. I gave her a nod. "I must get going." I tell her and she nodded. "I'll see you around."
