Allie:

Ryke pulls the truck in front of me and I jumped in. He whistled and Nina came running in and jumped onto my lap and jumped into the back. "Sorry about her." I shook my head. He stares out of the window. When she was younger Aspen kept putting her onto her lap which lead to her jumping onto everyone's lap every time." He finishes before driving up to the trailer. "No. It's fine."

"I'm going to attach the trailer and then we need to start heading. If you need to use the toilet go now." I nodded before heading towards the building. I went straight to the toilet and grabbed the drinks that i forgot.

I headed out to see the trailer is hooked on and Aspen and Ryder is standing there. She looks over to me, then is running over to me. The twins are looking at me confused. She wraps her arms around me. The giant hoodie that Ryke allowed me to borrow and then Aspen giving me some of Ryders he never wears.

"Your safe." She grabs my face. Desperate that if she doesn't I'll disappear. I nodded. "No more Quinton." I nodded and she wraps her arms around my skinny body. "I'll see you when you get back." I nodded. "See you soon." I stand there awkwardly now. While she's still hugging me. They know how he treated me and they're happy that I'm away from him.

I remember how I told my mom. I dropped my head so Ryke and Ryder doesn't see my face.

"Mom..." she flicks her head towards me as she was doing my sisters hair for my wedding. "Yes, Allie?" She snaps. I flinched at the tone of her voice. She's not normally like this but now... she is.

"I want to talk to you." I whispered and she nodded. "Go on then." She finishes up my sisters hair and she ran out. She's only four so she wouldn't understand what's going on.

She patted on the chair to do my hair. "What's wrong." She sounded annoyed thinking I'm leaving. I'm thinking about it and that's why I'm going to speak to Aspen when she gets here. "He's not good, mom." I move my dressing gown to show the things he's done. All the bruises, the cuts. The everything. She rolls her eyes. "That's how all relationships are." She says wrapping my hair up tight. Too tight it hurts.

Aspen realise I'm getting uncomfortable and moved away. "I need to call up work to say I'm not coming in for a week." Ryke nods before I turned away and grabbed my phone and called up. I told them I wasn't in for a week and then they agreed and ended it, they should know as I wasn't going in anyway it's my honey moon ends in three days but I need more if I'm doing this.

I turned to see Ryke walking up to the stables with a horse. It was a black Stallion. He walks him into the trailer and then walked out of the side door and shut the door and then the trailer door and locked it and then walked to the driver side and leaned against the door. He saw me and gave me a nod before jumping in. I went to the passenger side and jumped in.

"Let's get this on the road." He says pulling out of the parked position and waved Aspen and Ryder off. We headed down the path and I see a car driving down. My eyes shot open as I see the person driving it. "It's... it's Quinton." I told him. His eyes narrow. He turns his head.

"I can't let you there with him right now." He tells me grabbing his phone and called Ryder.

"Ryke?" He answer straight away. "Quinton's on his way. Just play it off as you don't know where I'm going if he saw me and don't know where Allie is." He was quiet for a minute before repeating it. Probably to Aspen. "Ok, I'll see you soon." He ends as soon as the door is knocked.

"Your fine for now." He whispers as he pressed his foot to the ground and to the entrance. He turns to leave the entrance and headed a different way than Quinton's.

I tilted my head onto the door. "Which horse do you have?" I asked him. He was quiet for a minute. "That's Whisk." He shrugs keeping an on eye on the road listening to the satnave going. I didn't even realise that was playing. "Why is whisk coming?" I asked and he looks at me and then through the rear view mirror.

"He's not ours, Aspen works on the horses when they are crazy. So, we're giving him back." I nodded and we turned.

"I never got to really tell you this." I say to him. He gave me a nod to carry on. He pressed his foot down a little further on the peddle. "I want to say thank you, thank you so much Ryke. I, he didn't treat me right and As... Aspen told me your my best shot. So I took it. So," I tapped my fingers on my thigh. Not sure how I'm going to carry on what to say.

I turned to the window and not looking at him to tell him I can't carry on. I felt a large palm on my hand. Stopping me from tapping my thigh. I turned to look. A large hand and moving up his long muscular arms. Then to his face.

He pulls over for a second. "Listen to me." He grabs my chin for me to look at him. "Allie, you don't have to thank me. I was going to stop it anyway. I know he was treating you wrong, I saw how you was with him at the house. I saw how skinny you were when you went to Aspens meal." I just stare at him.

"I couldn't let myself know I could've stopped it. And never. Even if I had to throw you over my shoulder to get you back home." He looks at me. "Don't ever thank me Allie." He kisses my forehead.

He turns to the window and pulled off the side and started to drive. "I... I'm sorry that I put you through all this, when we get back I'll get out of the way and move and I get-" the car came into a immediate stop, throwing me into the dash board. But he catches me before I hurt myself. "It's too late, Your not going anywhere. Im going to help you get through this. Im going to get your ex fiancé out of your life and you can be free."

"I... I don't know what to say..." he smiles. "You don't have to say anything." He says start to drive again. My lips form into a thin line. "Let's get this over and done with." I nodded with a sigh. I miss his hand on mine. I miss his hands on me. I want to put it back. But I know I couldn't.

"Let's get on the road." He nodded and we left.
