Allie:

I needed someone to take it away. I needed no more pain than what Quinton caused. "Allie no." He shakes his head, I need someone and he won't do that job. "Allie." He grabs my chin ever so slightly. "I'm not going to take the pain away because your hurting. It would stop for two seconds and that's it."

I stared at him. Pain is running through my eyes. "I'm... I'm sorry. Don't hurt me for asking." He winces. "I'm... I'm sorry." I dropped my head onto his shoulder and he wraps his arms around me. It feels like my safe place. Like nothing will happen if I'm in his arms.

"Allie, listen to me I would never hurt you." He grabbed my chin. "Don't even think that, I'll never hurt or starve a woman." He whispers and I nodded. He lifts me up and places me on my seat. I was about to whimper as his hands left my skin. But I shut my mouth before anything could happen.

"Ready?" He asks me and I nodded. I turned to the window. This is the only thing I can do while trying to forget his touch. To forget what he does to make me feel like this. I shouldn't really be thinking like this as what happened with Quinton. But I couldn't help it. We wouldn't have gone further than if he took the pain away.

I turn to face him. He has one hand on the wheel and one of the gear stick as he drives out of the bar and headed for the next stop. "You can sleep if you want." I nodded and he didn't have to tell me twice. I closed my eyes and I had seconds before falling asleep.

~~~
Ryke:
I kept on driving. I'm not stopping. I can't. This horse needs to get back to his owner and leaving him in the trailer for days on end.  I will give him a bit of a stretch.
"Ryke?" I flicked my head to Allie. "I'll give you a few minutes to wake up and then we'll give Whisk and I'll sleep and you'll drive." She nodded and she stared out of the window.
She wakes up more and I pulled into a car park. "Mind refilling his water, I'll give him a ride." She nodded and walked over to my boot. I opened it and grabbed the water out and passed it to her. I headed towards the trailer door and walked out Whisk.
"Good boy." I calmed him down before starting to walk him around to stretch his legs. "Allie?" She flicked her head. "I'll be around thirty minutes." She nodded. She looked around and then turned back to me. "I can come if you want, let me do the waters." I nodded. "Yeah sure."
I grabbed the reins and let go on the field. Luckily Aspen got him use to his name so when we call him he comes up to us. He ran down the field. I whistled as he got to far but can hear me.
He came charging towards me and I patted his neck as he reached me. Aspen done amazing job on him. He wouldn't let anyone near him. I'm surprised that Ryder let her ride him as he became more over protective after what Power did to him and they both separated. But now they're happy and back together.
"Good boy." I whispered and he turned his head to me. Gave me that horse smiling and made a noise and then chanted off. He wasn't going as far as he did just.
"He's a stunner." She tells me and I nodded in agreement, I whistled as he got far enough for the safety because these woods in front of us has animals that would eat him. He came back towards us and I looked to see a pack of wolves. "Good boy." I stroked his neck and grabbed his reins so he wouldn't run off again. I placed him back into the trailer and jumped into the van.
"Ryke!" Allies voice rang through my ears, I flicked my head towards her. She wasn't in the truck. I jumped out quickly and I looked for her. She stands there with something in her arms. The pack of wolves has disappeared and nothing was there.
