Surprise!

Elles POV

Okay is everything perfect, yes, yes and yes.

Knock knock

"TAO GO GET THAT!" I call.

"Okay." He says groaning.

I hear him walk towards the door and open the door. If I'm going to be honest it's probably Nick and Charlie or Aled there's no way it's Tara and Darcy first even though there the closest.

"Charlie." Tao calls. "Nickkk....."

"Nice to see you too." Nick says.

Nick walks into the room as I put the cookies into the oven to bake and he greets with a Nelson hug.

"Elle!" Charlie says pulling Nick off me to hug me.

"Charlie!" I say happily.

After all the things that happened with Charlie and me going off at him I'm happy he's forgiven me even though that was years ago. I don't know it's almost like it was three months ago but I guess not.

"Come sit." I say ushering them over towards the couch.

We sit down and start talking casually till there's another doorbell ring.

"Tao can you get it please?" I ask.

"Fineeee." He complains.

He gets up and heads towards the door and when he gets there I hear him say. "Aled hey!"

We all haven't seen Aled since him and Harry broke up a few months ago. I mean he sends a message here and there saying he'll come but every single time he says that he always finds a way to make an excuse to not come and I know he's struggling but it hurts he isn't coming to feiend group reunions anymore.

"Aled hey!" Nick says standing up and going to give him a hug.

Aled resists the hug but considering everyone loves Nick cuddles he falls into the trap and hugs Nick. I think Aled has warmed up to Nick now, after years but he still has. It's nice to see them all bonding like we used to in Highschool.

"Come sit Aled!" I say.

Aled sits next to me and his body shudders. He's still recovering from the breakup with Harry which was a few months ago but I guess it hurts still.

"Who wants to watch a movie while we wait for Tara and Darcy?" I ask breaking the silence.

"Me." Everyone agrees.

"Ok what movie?" I ask.

"Marvel." Nick says.

"Romance!" Tao says.

"No we're watching marvel." Nick says.

"Romance." Tao says.

"How about grown ups?" Aled asks.

"Sure." I say flicking to the movie after searching it.

We get half way through the movie when there is a knock at the door. Tao knows I'm going to ask him anyways so he goes and opens the door for Tara and Darcy.

"Tara!" He says. "Darcy!"

We watch the rest of the movie with Tara and Darcy but everyone is on edge and to be honest it's really awkward because I don't know what's going on? What's going on?

Taos POV

I need to make sure everything is perfect for when this happens I have it all set up and I have it all ready but I'm scared considering Aleds breakup this might thing back a few bad memories but hopefully it doesn't and it all runs smoothly.

We finish the movie when I give Nick the signal.

"Ok I'm going to go to the bathroom you guys start eating the baked goods and then I have a surprise." I smile.

"What surprise?" Elle says.

"Wait and seee." I tease walking up the stairs and running into our bedroom to grab the surprise for Elle.

I message Nick.

Tao: Ok I'm ready soon get Elle in an open space, get Charlie to record.

Nick: got it

I freshen up and head downstairs, the surprise in my pocket. I see they have Elle's eyes covered in a cloth. I go in front of Elle and take the blindfold off.

"Elle Argent you are the love of my life and I will always love you." I say. "Will you marry me?"

As I say this I go onto one knee and pull out the ring from my pocket showing the diamond I have bought for her.

"Yes!" She cries. "Yes!"

Tears pour out of our eyes as I slip the ring onto her finger and I stand up. I kiss her, she said yes to marrying me! Wait! SHE SAID YES!

After about thirty seconds she pulls away.

"It's beautiful Tao." She smiles. "Thank you, I love you so much."

She hugs me before I can even say anything. Nick starts clapping and everyone follows suit. I'm so happy she said yes but I'm happy everyone's happy.

"WOO HOO!" Darcy says. "I WANNA BE A AUNTIE NOW MOVE IT!"

Elle and I both laugh at her comment but I don't think kids are far off yet but we'll see I would want them in three weeks the best I'd say is about three years and maybe, marriage first then we'll talk about kids.

"We'll see." Elle says.

"Ok let's go eat I'm starving." Nick says.

"Ok we'll meet you there." I say turning to Elle.

They leave the room and I turn back to Elle.

"Elle I love you so much and I didn't want to just show that through the ring, I also got us a trip spring Europe because I know you deserve it, I've already contacted your work and and they said it was fine with you being off."

Elles beautiful smile appears across her face again. Love encompassing every single inch of the smile.

"Thank you Tao, I love you too." She says.

"Thank you now let's go eat I'm STARVING!" I laugh.

We leave the room and head towards the kitchen everyone is happily chatting away and Elle goes and sits with Tara and Darcy to chat but I got to Charlie and Nick.

"She said yes!" I say as I sit down.

"I know I'm so happy for you!" Charlie says. "If only someone else could, wink, wink."

Charlie side eyes Nick is protest to this and Nicks face flushed red.

"Good things come to those who wait." Nick says poshly.

"Ok everyone!" Elle says. "Let's eat these baked dishes!"
