**Brendons POV **

We are 14 shows down in the first leg of the tour. The bands sound great, the crowds are amazing and we are all having a great time. It's great having Carlyn and Skai here. It means I'm not missing out on the early days. She's starting to develop her own little personality. She's more awake during the day, and she's started smiling. I can not put into words how much this little person has changed our lives.

We've just finished off our sound check, and everything is ready for tonight. I see Pete coming towards me carrying Skai. "How's daddy's little princess?" I say tickling her stomach. "I'm great," Pete replies. "Thanks for asking. Skai's good as well."
"Very funny, Pete." I laugh. "Have you seen Carlyn? I need a quick word with her."
"She was talking to Nicole and Elise a few minutes ago. Nicole has a problem with her dress for tonight....I am assuming you never managed to talk to her about you know what due to this little ones arrival."
"Nope, now I don't know how to bring it up. I saw her talking to Elise a few nights ago, and I've not really been sleeping since. What if she tells her about what what happened between us?"
"Dude, you're gonna have to tell her, you can't go on like this....."
"I know..." I sigh.

**Carlyn's POV**

Pete's decided he's taking Skai on a tour of the venue, so I'm currently spending some time with Nicole whilst Elise is making an alteration to her dress for tonight's show. Nicole's filling us in on her current relationship. I'm glad she's found someone who makes her happy.
"How about you, Elise? Are you still seeing Joe? You have been together for a little while now."
"Umm, yeah, kinda. We've been together 9 months, but we've kinda been on and off for the past 3 months. We separated for a little while, but we are back together again."
"I'm sorry to hear that, Elise. Relationships can be hard work, but it will be worth it if he's the one."
"I agree," says Nicole. I notice Elise looks a little upset. "Elise, are you OK?
"I think I'm gonna be sick."
"Sit down, and I'll get you some water." I tell her.  When I come back, I see Nicole comforting Elise. Shit have I said something I shouldn't have. I pass her the bottle of water.
"Here. Drink this....Elise I'm sorry if I've upset you...."
"No, you haven't. It's just me.......my hormones are everywhere just now, and I seem to be crying over everything and anything. "
'I can relate to that. When I was pregnant, Bren and I could be watching sonething, and suddenly I'd be crying for no reason. Hell, I'm still like that now. It takes a long time for your hormones to settle."
Nicole is now looking from myself to Elise and back. I can tell she's thinking about something. She has that look.
"Elise.....could you be pregnant?" Nicole asks.
Why didn't I think of that. I swear I have baby brain. The signs are there. Elise looks at us both in a panic.
"My periods have always been irregular, so it's never crossed my mind. Shit!....... I suppose there could be."
"There's a Walmart across the street. Right, you do what you need to do to Nicole's dress, and I'll head out and get you a pregnancy test. That way, you will know for definite, ok?"
"Thanks Carlyn".
I see Brendon talking to Pete.
"Hey Bren!"
"Carly, I've been looking for you. Can we have a quick chat?
"Sure. Can it wait 10 minutes, and can you keep Skai? I need to run to Walmart across the road real quick."
"Yeah, sure, it can wait till you get back. Is everything OK, babe?"
"Yeah, I need to go grab a pregnancy test......"
"WHAT?? Skai's only 7 weeks old. I thought you couldn't get pregnant whilst breastfeeding." Oh-my-God the look on Brendon and Pete's faces is hilarious.
"If you'd have let me finish before jumping to conclusions. It's for Elise, not Me...." I laugh at them both as I'm walking away.

**Pete's POV**

Brendon looks like he's about to puke. "Hey man, are you ok?"
"No.......Shit do you think it could be mine?"
"Well, there is a possibility. After all, you did have sex with her. " I can't fukn believe this. I didn't think this situation could get any worse. Now we're on tour with your wife and child and your one night stand that could possibly be pregnant with YOUR child. It's like living in a soap opera......."
Fuck .....what am I going to do?..."
You really couldn't make this shit up. "Brendon you need to speak to her and unless it's with Carlyn. Keep your dick in your pants FOREVER!!!". I hand him Skai as I head to the stage for FOB's sound check.

**Brendon's POV**

I can't believe this is actually happening. "Someone, somewhere, must really hate me." I say to Skai, knowing she has no idea what I'm saying it's just noise to her, but at least she can't answer back. I see that Elise has finished with Nicole, so I quickly make my way over to her, trying to look as casual as I can under the circumstances.
"Elise!...can we talk quickly before Carlyn comes back?" She looks slightly shocked.
"Fuck.......She told you what was happening, didn't she?  Look Brendon I'm sure it's nothing."
"Didn't we use protection?"
"I can't remember. We had a fair bit to drink!"
"Fuck, Carlyn will kill me....not only for cheating on her, but if I've gotten you pregnant, my marriage will definitely be over!!"
"Wow....thanks for your concern, Brendon! I'm touched......REALLY. You'd better go because Carlyn's back and I need to go pee on a fukn stick. "

**Elise's POV**

SHIT! I really can't deal with this. I don't need this just now, I'm not ready. What are the chances that it's

A) positive
B) Brendon's
C) Joe's

Carlyn hands me the bag, and I head to the bathroom. I feel so sick and guilty.... Carlyn has always been nice to me and what do I do, get drunk and fuck her husband. Now I might be having his baby. My life is such a mess. I do what I need to, and I'm now waiting in the bathroom with Nicole and Carlyn on the results. I feel my anxiety rising and I can barely look at Carlyn. The timer on my phone goes off, telling me that the results should be ready.
"I'm too scared to look," I say to no-one in particular. "It's the only way you will know for certain." Nicole says."Do you want me to look?" I nod my head at her. As she turns the test over, I don't realise I'm holding my breath.
"It's positive. Congratulations.....youre gonna be a mom." She says happily. Not realising that the bottom has just dropped out of my world.
"Aww, congratulations, Elise. I'm sure you and Joe will be great parents." Carlyn says, wrapping me in a hug. "Look, I know it's a daunting time, especially when it's unexpected, but, given that I have just been pregnant and I'm a new mom. I will help you in any way you need me to. Don't be afraid to ask. After all, we women  are few and far between on this tour.
