In the last hour, not only have I lost Conrad, I almost got thrown up two separate times. SO I decided staying outside on the porch was my best resort, since the last 3 conversations I tried to start ended in crickets.

At least I tried today.

While I scroll through my phone, I see photos of my friends from my last year partying at some random dude's house. They were always great at that. Making new friends. That's what I am going to at least try to get better at this summer.

"Olivia!" I hear someone say behind me. I quickly turned around, appalled by the sudden voice.

"Finally. We got to go, Conrad's...not doing so well," Jeremiah says, while pointing to the door.

I've only left him for about 30 minutes and he was just playing some games with some guys, what could have happened in 30 minutes.

"Uh-Okay okay," I say, quickly standing up and picking up my purse and my other belongings.

"Where is h-" before I can even finish my question, walking out the door is the guy from earlier, Liam, holding Conrad up and Belly following behind them.

"I got to go guys, take him from here," Liam says, letting go of Conrad.

Belly goes towards Conrad, trying to lay his arm around her shoulder but he resists.

"No. No, no, no." he says, while shaking his head furiously.

He takes a sip of his beer and fumbles his way towards me.

"Hey l-liv," he says, while placing both of his hands on both of my shoulders.

"H-hi?" I say, while laughing, not knowing what to do.

He leans over to me and gives me a hug.

"She's real," he says, while laughing.

"Of course she is, dummy. What are you on about?" Jeremiah says, while trying to get Conrad off of me.

"No! Le-let go." he says, while swatting away Jeremiah's arm.

"She- She . I am meaning that she is a real one," he says, then pulls back and cups my face.

"I mean, like look. So adorable." he says, while giving me a big smile.

"Okay, okay. Let's go now," Belly says, attempting to grab him off of me.

"No! No way." he says, and wraps his arm around my shoulder.

"This- SHE! She is my-MY! Girlfriend. I will go on with her. ONLY! Her," he says, while looking over to me.

"Alright. Alright man. Let's go Liv," Jeremiah says, while helping me take Conrad down the porch steps.

"Heyy! Only I call her that." Conrad says to Jeremiah. Jere just nods, ignoring anything Conrad is saying at this point.

Suddenly, a car's headlights come out of nowhere and stops in front of the house.

"That's our taxi!" Conrad says, while removing Jeremiah's hand from his arm and leading me to the car.

"We are driving you," Jeremiah shouts, but Conrad just ignores him.

"How about the car," I ask him, looking back towards his car that is parked next to the house.

"Tomorrow. Yes, tomorrow liv." he says.

I nod and get into the car with him.

"Call me when you get there!" Jeremiah shouts as the driver starts the car. Conrad opens his window and as the driver starts to drive away, sticks his middle finger up at Jeremiah.

"Conrad!" I say, trying not to laugh.

I may be failing at that though.

"He deserves that, and so many more." he slurs, while placing his head on my shoulder.

"I wish I could run from it, run from it all. But everytime I see then together, I get remembered of the last summer." he says.

"I-"

"I'm going to sleep. Wake me up when we are there." he says, while getting comfortable on my shoulder.

What in the world happened at that party for him to get this drunk?

"Are you alright?" I ask, but I get no answer.

There's no way he is already asleep.

I start to poke his shoulder, to see if he is actually asleep but I get no response.

"Okay then," I say, resting my head back on the seat.

"I'm fine," he slurs.

But we all know that's a lie.
