That very night Ra'mora laid wide awake. Her twin beside her however, was knocked out like a light. Braids all over the place, limbs sprawled out, and strings of soft snores escaped his lips.
For once he wasn't crushing Ra'mora with his bodyweight. She laid there, staring up at the ceiling of the pod with her hands intertwined atop of her stomach.
She had pretty much tuned out all of Neteyam's snores, far too immersed with her own thoughts to really pay attention to it.
Ra'mora didn't know what to think of the whole situation with Ao'nung. She felt... agitated? Upset? Gut wrenching? It was a mix of all.
'There's no way I feel like crying because of this boy. Eywa, I need to get it together. I don't even know how he feels about her for certain.'
'Why does that even matter anyway hm? If he wants her again, then so what? You'll have to leave him anyways even if you two did get together.'
'..But he was destined to me. Eywa had a plan for us.'
'Listen to yourself. You sound pathetic and obsessive. Pull yourself together you wimp.'
Ra'mora sighed harshly and sat up. She rubbed her temples for a second and then shook her head quickly, as if trying to physically shake her thoughts away.
She pushed past the curtains of her shared section of the pod quietly. The night sky was bright tonight, and she heard Neteyam make a short grumble and move around.
She prayed he didn't fully wake him up and quickly slid through the small opening of the curtain then shut it quickly.
Ra'mora shut her eyes and lips into a tight line, gripping the curtains still with tense shoulders and she prayed to Eywa as hard as she could that her brother didn't wake up.
When she heard a loud snore erupt from his mouth she let out a quiet breath she didn't even know she was holding.
Letting go of the curtains now and with her eyes and lips now relaxed, she walked with light footsteps to the opening of her pod.
She lightly bounced on the flexible weavings of the path, humming quietly to herself and taking her time to walk. She enjoyed the fresh air, and the cool breeze that wrapped around her.
Just what she needed to take her mind off of things.
She admired the bright sky tonight and marveled at the glowing creatures in the water as she trotted along.
Naturally, Ra'mora thought about going to the spot in the forest. Her and Ao'nung's spot. She couldn't sleep again as usual, and it was just natural reflex at this point to want to go to the spot in the forest. She quickly shook those thoughts away with a sigh.
'He's probably there. I shouldn't be around him anymore.'
A strong gust of wind wisps around her causing her braids to slap her in the face. "Thanks I guess Eywa for giving me a sign." She mumbled, half joking half serious. Serious about being thankful, joking about the sign.
