"No fair! Ra'mora got extra help from Ao'nung and that's why she's so much better than us now." Tuk pouted, after her and her partners watched the two have a fully fluent conversation together.
Neteyam crossed his arms over his chest and shook his head disapprovingly in a playful manner, "I know, I know. Mora is a big fat cheater isn't she?"
"No, Lo'ak is big and fat. Not Momo."
Ayreina couldn't help but bust out laughing before quickly covering her mouth. She regained her composure and went back to being nonchalant. "Tuk that's not nice."
She looked up to see Neteyam looking away holding a laugh.
"SERIOUSLY, WHY DO I KEEP CATCHING STRAYS?" A voice that sounded far away yelled.
Ayreina broke her composure again at that and laughed, then proceeded to cough to try and cover it up. Neteyam busted out laughing at the fact she laughed, and well, Tuk was giggling just because she wanted to join them laughing.
Ra'mora smirked watching the three of them interact from afar on the rock Ao'nung found her at one night. They sat together, just talking and watching everyone else interact from time to time as they sway their feet in the water.
She couldn't quite hear whatever they were talking about, but seeing her siblings interact with Ayreina made her happy. She was able to pick up Lo'ak yelling about being bullied all the time though.
"Yknow," She nudged Ao'nung and nodded subtly to the group of three's direction, "Don't they look like a little family over there?"
Ao'nung grimaced, "Ew. I want my sister to find love but not with THAT. Ow! What the fuck?" He rubbed the back of his neck where he was slapped by the forest na'vi.
"That's my twin brother, dipshit."
He rolled his eyes at her, "I guess. Anyways, you're right though. They do like a family."
Ra'mora hummed in response, "They've been getting closer. I'm happy for the both of them, especially Ayreina."
"Me too."
A comfortable silence washes over them. Ra'mora looked down to her feet in the water and was admiring the smaller animals swimming around in the water and all the plants swaying.
Unbeknownst to her Ao'nung was admiring how she looked. He took note of the beads in her hair and realized they were the same as Neteyam's. It just now clicked to him that they usually match, because well Ao'nung's a little slow.
It made sense though considering they were twins, and he could tell they were close without even having to ask one of them about the other.
"I want you to meet my spirit brother." Ao'nung blurted out while he was staring at her. His eyes widened for a second before he made them go back to normal once he saw she was about to turn her head to look at him.
'You fucking skxawng. Become Ayreina and be nonchalant it's fine.' He panicked in his mind.
"You want.. me to go see him with you?" She asked. Her tone and expression was a little hard for him to read.
