"Babe, I know that Nanon is your best friend and everything, but do you think they will be okay? Your bestie is cheating on my bestie, isn't that too appalling? I know that it wasn't on purpose since we can perfectly tell that awkward atmosphere, but... I don't know," Frist asked over and over again right after our little conversation about werewolves just moments before. We were sitting right next to each other in front of the television that we weren't paying attention to anymore.
Honestly, I have known Nanon all my life, and we've been tied together since I am his Beta, his best friend, and his brother all-in-one. Though I ain't no expert when it comes to any form of relationship, I knew very much that Nanon fucked up real good this time. That woman was probably the same one that Finella hired to escort Nanon to the event without knowing about the motive that she had on her sleeve. I know Finella, as well, and that she would be the first one to be mad at our friend for what happened. Besides, I have no knowledge of that woman in the first place, but Nanon should probably head back here in Oregon right at this very moment.
On top of that, my boyfriend seemed much more troubled than I am concerning the issue, not because he thinks that I'd do the same thing with him - but because his best friend, Chimon, was involved. Knowing First, he would go berserk with anyone who hurts anyone that he loves, and Nanon would never be an exception to that fierce fury.
"Cub, don't think about them too much. They're not kids anymore, besides, it is their problem and not ours. They will figure it out somehow, I mean, Nanon should figure out something to woo his Chimon back. Let's not make this our problem, please. You've been so hung up on them that you've forgotten about me," I said in the most pitiful voice that I can conjure whilst First just looked at me with narrowed eyes.
"Please," I exasperated. "Don't tell me that you are thinking wildly in that brain of yours about me cheating on you?"
"Well," First trailed before looking right into my eyes. "Not really, since you've mentioned that I am your mate. Besides, being your mate and that I have accepted you means that you cannot be with someone other than me."
Half-truth. I still have to mate with him to fully solidify our bond and connection with each other, but that can wait for the next time.
"I am just concerned about them," First started and this time, I wasn't interested anymore in Nanon's issue so I leaned closer to my mate making him look at me with confusion.
With a smirk, I dived right into his lovely mouth earning a faint gasp from the other male whilst his hand slightly pushed me away, which I obliged. First face was full-on red from the sudden kiss making me smile and just shake my head, but in the sudden turn of events - he grabbed the collar of my shirt until his lips were back to mine. This time, it was rougher and much more sure making me want to devour him just a little bit more.
Without wasting any more time, our kisses turned into much more passionate ones as we continued to explore our desires for each other, which was imminent from the way our mouths moved. As part of the exploration, my hands were already traveling effortlessly inside his shirt making him flinch as I placed my whole hand on his abdomen. First's grip on the back of my neck tightened as his abdomen slowly relaxed to my touch.
