"I'm not entirely sure that I understood what happened just now, but I am sure I am so lost and don't know what to make out of it. However, I have decided that I shall put the blame on Nanon for whatever is happening," I say in a voice that resounds confusion and spite at the same time while Dark just sits on the couch with his arms spread wide on the backrest.
I know that he's thinking of the exact same thoughts that I have at the moment, and yet being Nanon's best friend, he is still probably trying to find the words in order to defend him, which is evident because of the expressions on his face. And I, being Chimon's best friend, would definitely do whatever I have to do to make sure that Nanon pays for what he did - not entirely, I suppose. Seeing the live earlier, I could tell that Nanon was as shocked as we were with what the woman did, and we saw how he was able to manage the situation to his favor. Yet, that doesn't mean that he is out of the woods for Chimon didn't take that kiss lightly on national television.
On television! The whole world saw that kiss!
I mean, if Dark does the same thing that Nanon did, I would probably gut him alive of course. But Chimon and I are two different people with two different personalities, and since knowing my best friend - he's strong and yet fragile at the same time. Chimon knows how to mask his emotions when he has to, but he can also break down and cry just as easily as he puts up a wall around himself. He is a complicated lad, to be honest, but that is what makes him special, too. So, he would not be doing anything that leads to any form of blood. Just saying.
"Aren't you glad that I am not famous or whatever like Nanon?" Dark asks with that slight smirk on his face, and it is my turn to shake my head in total disbelief. "What? I mean, you have all of me for yourself and not kissing someone else, right? I am always here beside you and I am not popular, so no one is taking my attention away from you."
Chuckling, I sit on the couch beside him whilst using his arm as my pillow. "Yes, well, except when Nanon needs you - I am pretty sure that you will abandon me for a moment but come back to cuddle me all night," I say, and Dark nods happily.
"And please, I've heard students fangirling or fanboying about you in the hallway, not just in our hallway but also in the cafeteria, or the ground. I mean, the whole damn school is rooting for you too. There's no other Dark in the campus, you know, and I am just making it slide because I know that you're mine. So you're famous in your own handsome ways. And don't compare yourself to him, you are an Alpha yourself."
I pause. Dark gasps. For starters, I didn't want him to know about me knowing about him this way - yes, about him being a werewolf.
"Wait," Dark looks at me questioningly. "Did you say something about an... Alpha? Do you know what that means, right? Like... Alpha...being... like..." he starts to rumble with his hands all over the place. "How? I didn't...wait...maybe I just misheard you?"
