CHIMON
After being caught earlier which is nothing to be worried about at all in the first place, I feel suddenly awkward being around Win - like I just made a grave mistake against him. However, Win looks in my direction with one of those reassuring smiles as if reading what's going in my mind and asks me to sit across from him at the counter. Nanon leaves the two of us alone so he could make breakfast.
"How was your sleep, darling? Was it comfortable?"
"Yes, Daddy. Thank you so much for letting me sleepover last night," I say and fiddle with my fingers - anxiousness.
"I'm sorry for barging in like that so suddenly earlier, love. I didn't mean to, well, uhm...I don't know... maybe see my son doing that to you. I mean, you're both adults and you guys probably know what you are doing. I hope so."
"No, Daddy, it's not what you think it was. We were just talking about something..." I pause, take a peek at Nanon's back before looking back at Win who is waiting for me to speak .
"I'm sorry if it was as if we were doing that thing..."
Win chuckles and shakes his head in amusement. "I'm not saying that it's fine, but I am somehow relieved that he didn't do anything at all or forced himself on you. I'm not that conservative or anything, not at all, but there are some things that need not be rushed. We give them time to develop and happen naturally in this life. And Nanon knows about that - the steps that he needs to follow in order to understand everything happening around his world."
Nanon suddenly appears in front of us with plates on hand - just some eggs, slices of bacon, toasts, sausages, and blueberry muffins. I quickly help him up which is reciprocated with a small kiss on the top of my head. He disappears again to make cups of coffee while Win is just staring at me with such a wide smile on his face. Somehow, I suddenly feel so embarrassed being stared at though I know that he doesn't mean anything by it.
"I've never seen Nanon get this excited to cook breakfast for us, you know. Though I mentioned that he had been practicing since he was a kid to cook, it somehow felt like he was forced to do it when he turned into an adult. Sometimes, I have to drag him to the kitchen just to see him touch a pot or ladle. But today, he seems to be in a good mood. I wonder if it's because he's cooking for the one that he pines on, perhaps, am I right son?" Win, this time, throws the question to Nanon who just places the coffee on the coaster for each one of us.
Nanon looks at Win with brows in the middle and a cute pout with so much confusion lacing his system making me giggle. He just sits right beside me to start filling up my plate - and once more, I've never been pampered this much before even with my previous relationship. It feels new, revitalizing, amazing, and very much overwhelming at some point - and yet, I am overjoyed by his gestures, as well.
"Oh, where's Dad?" Nanon asks Win who sips on his coffee.
"Training."
"Should I call him to eat breakfast with us?"
