The NationTrue News office looked grand from the outside. The engineer had done his best job of making the NationTrue Office building look strong and beautiful at the same time. Ironically, its interiors today looked annihilated. The insides of the NationTrue Building had to face their boss, Reyansh Lamba's, wrath.

The main hall was completely messed up. Computer screens are broken; laptops are trashed like crushed papers. All the documents were torn, and it seemed like there was no one to take care of the important information or consent to those paper sheets. The entire office looked like it was the epicenter of the world's most destructive tornado. Tornado of Angst!

Amidst all this, the creator of this calamity, Reyansh Lamba, was inside his cabin. He was sitting on the brown couch between the broken pieces of coffee mugs and vases with a bottle of liquor. His eyes were red due to the explicit anger rushing through his veins. Tears of haterade flooded his eyes.

Daddy's clinic is flooded, and we are here arranging his stuff.

LIE. He gulped the liquor from the bottle.

How could you, Reyansh? You did it all because I slapped you?

It hurt your ego, and you ruined my life as revenge.

He had many things inside him. But no one cared. Not even his dad and his Mo-Kadambari Devi-let's not talk about her.

One more gulp. And a teardrop rolled out of his eye.

When he took Aradhana to the office and stated that he had been harassed, everyone just yelled at him. They blamed him for ruining a girl's life. Did any of them care to ask him the reason he did so? None of his office co-workers knew what Reyansh was talking about, but they were the fastest to judge. To judge that Aradhana, a girl, is the victim. To judge that only he was wrong. To judge that he is a misogynist, a sexist, and blah blah blah

One more gulp. That bitter liquid burned his throat, but it was his least concern.

When he was asked about the reason he did so, he just stated that it was revenge for Aradhana's slap on him.

He didn't say anything about Mayank to his friends, neither Sunaina nor Vikram. They knew him from childhood. They were his only friends, but they didn't try to ask him the real truth. Even they believed that he could take such a heinous step just because he had grudges with one of his employees.

One more gulp from the bottle. He doubted if they were his friends from childhood or were on a pact to change him. He doubted if they really were his friends or damage controllers employed by his dad.

And his dear love. Madame Aradhana, Miss Sahani. She claimed that she loved him. She claimed that she would be his healer. But How?

A gulp again!

How will she heal him if she doesn't understand his pain and his wounds? He didn't actually mention that he knew about Mayank before he took Aradhana to his office. Ironically, when he justified his actions as vengeance, she didn't cross-question him. She believed that he could be so horrendous to someone with only a slap. She didn't bother to ask him twice.

AND .gulp. SHE .gulp. CLAIMED .gulp. THAT .gulp. SHE .gulp. LOVED .gulp. HIM.

JOKE OF THE YEAR!

Funny isn't?

With this thought, he chuckled darkly and drank the entire bottle of liquor at once. The bitter liquid was irritating his consciousness, burning his throat, and multiplying his emotions umpteen times, but he cared less.

He cleaned those broken pieces of mugs and vases off the sofa messily, leaving a few bits. The intoxication was uncontrollable, thus, ignoring those tiny bits, he laid on the sofa on his back. Those tiny pieces pierced his back, making him wince in pain. And instead out getting up with a jerk, out of reflex, he reclined deeper into the sofa letting those sharp articles delve deeper inside his back muscles.

Because he wanted pain. How much can life be worse with him? Blood oozing out of his back was getting soaked by the material of the sofa. He could feel wetness on his back, but WHO CARES?

He closed his eyes feeling those stinging sensations on his back reminiscing whatever happened in those few days.

His eyes closed. Traces of dried tears on his cheeks. Remnants of liquor on his lips tracing their way down to his neck through jaws. Blood oozing out of his back. Laid down on the sofa amidst the destroyed NationTrue Office. Still was craving for more pain.

The Reyansh Lamba whom no one knew!

Have you ever seen a Tornado? Yes, Reyansh is always regarded as a tornado.

Everyone looks at the destruction that this calamity causes. The damage a tornado causes is a check to its strength. More is the destruction, so is the strength. But, have you ever noticed the shape of it?

The outsides of a Tornado is the sole responsible for all the damage . Ever tried to look inside it? From inside, a tornado is hollow, empty. Even the most dangerous one is hollow from inside.

So is Reyansh. People always come up to him, yell at him, advise him, command him, say whatever they feel like to him, and leave him with his own turmoil. He is left alone with his feelings, with his thoughts and his puzzles. He has ,also, set his boundaries which highlight the damages that he causes more than the empty self he is from inside.

When Aradhana first discovered his feelings and confronted his parents about him, he started loving her, not because Aradhana Sahani took a stand but because atleast, anyone took a stand for him. Anyone understood him. Anyone felt him. Lastly, anyone who thought about him more than his cold-hearted personality.

However, he now feels that this discovery of Aradhana about him was a chance discovery and she never meant it to the depth he felt. Just like Kadambari Devi lived with his father under one roof but she never meant to stay present there.

Maybe this is why he is not as disappointed as expected about what he did. Maybe this is why he is again being his poker self and listening to everyone just the way he originally did. Maybe this is why he is in the search of truth and not drowning in guilt.

Whatever it is, he had designated Aradhana as his love and now that she has broken his trust, he is very very very angry.

This is a Reyansh Lamba oriented chapter. I think that he is a character with so many layers. Just tried to dissect through multiple layers of him. Many of them are still left.
